The date of the screening of the anime "The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim" has become known

Warner Bros. announced the date of the premiere of the new anime series "The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim." The project, based on the legendary fantasy universe, will be broadcast at the end of winter - from February 24 of this year.

We were also shown the first art, which will allow us to get some ideas about the events of the series.

According to the official synopsis, The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim will tell a story that took place several centuries before the War of the Ring. We will be told about the formation of King Helm the Many-armed, by whose order the fortress of Helm's Deep was erected (it was there that the battle took place at the end of the second film of the trilogy).

The script for the anime is Philippa Boyens, who has worked on both the original Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
