Google is temporarily halting the sale of paid apps on its Google Play mobile store in the Russian Federation. As expected, the reason lies in the conduct by the Russian armed forces of a military special operation on the territory of Ukraine.
Earlier, the administration of the AppStore and a representative of a number of large gaming companies also announced their decision to suspend work in the Russian Federation. It is expected that brands will gradually return to the Russian market after the armed conflict subsides.
Installing free apps on Google Play is still available.
