The activities of GSC Game World may be prohibited in Russia

A new petition has been launched on the Change.org portal, which is aimed at banning all activities of GSC Game World in Russia. The company that owns the rights to the Stalker game universe has already announced its withdrawal from the domestic market, but the authors of the petition are sure that this should be enshrined at the legislative level.

As a reason for the proceedings, calls for sponsorship of the Ukrainian army, posted on the official website of GSC Game World, are called. Also in their Discord channel (according to the authors of the initiative), representatives of the studio often spoke in a negative color towards the Russian-speaking audience.

Note that the above is subject to one of the laws of Russia, which implies criminal liability. At the time of the creation of the material, the petition to ban the activities of GSC Game World gained a little more than a couple of hundred votes.
