How a Fallout: London mod writer got a job at Bethesda

The gaming industry knows many incredible stories: and here is one of them!
How a Fallout: London mod writer got a job at Bethesda

A few months ago, the first news broke about Fallout: London , an ambitious mod that takes the events of Fallout 4 from the US to England, adding a DLC-sized storyline. One of the creators of the mod, writer Stephanie Zachariadis, is currently hired as an assistant quest designer at Bethesda .

The Fallout: London team was happy for their former colleague :

Absolutely fantastic news. This has been made possible by the entire FOLON team and we wish her all the best from the bottom of our hearts... Stephanie has been a pillar of support for the team and helped create a fantastic and interesting main storyline with dialogue that we think you'll love. And we are sure that she will apply her talent, giving many successful recommendations to Todd himself.

The developers confirm that Zachariadis was actively involved in the creation of the plot and quests in Fallout: London. Unfortunately, she will no longer be able to contribute to a future project, as it could cause interest conflicts with Bethesda, although the mod lead and the team's creative director are already looking for a new dialogue writer.

As for Fallout: London, at the end of June, modders released a fresh video (see above), which detailed the progress made. We are shown several types of water mutants, including Thamesfolk and Thameshounds. These mutants - ex-humans who have changed due to the toxicity of the London Thames - are not exactly ghouls, but they will also cause a lot of problems.

In addition, modders are gradually releasing songs for the Fallout: London soundtrack. Below is the official trailer for the game:
