Game journalist Jeff Grubb hosted another podcast during which he talked about what the FromSoftware studio employees are doing now.
According to the host, so far the team has no tasks for the development of the Bloodborne universe. The reason is that the developers have fully dedicated themselves to supporting Elden Ring , which still shows excellent results and pleases players with its hardcore. Even if, in theory, another studio could develop a sequel or, for example, a remaster of the original Bloodborne, the copyright owners would have to work closely with it. And they, again, simply would not have had time for this.
On the other hand, Mr. Grubb cheered up the fans by saying that in the future FromSoftware could still return to Bloodborne and do something new for the franchise. But no one knows when to expect it.
