Google has not abandoned the development of cloud technologies, despite the closure of the Stadia service. Instead, the corporation will release a line of specialized devices called Chromebooks designed to run games through the cloud.
Currently, laptop developers include brands such as Lenovo, ASUS and Acer, in the future this list will be replenished with new companies. During operation, the systems will use GeForce NOW and Xbox Cloud Gaming technologies, and will also be able to please their owners with powerful hardware (120+ Hz, 1080p, Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, processors from Intel Core i3 to Core i7 and 8 GB of RAM ).
The first models will cost those who wish to purchase them at a cost of 400 to 800 US dollars, depending on the configuration. There is no word yet on a start date for sales of Chromebooks.
