Famous Japanese developer Hideo Kojima spoke about how third-party companies are constantly trying to buy his studio Kojima Production. The game designer notes that sometimes a lot of money is offered for the organization, but Kojima invariably refuses.
The main reason is that he wants to continue to remain independent and create games without regard to the opinion of anyone. Hideo initially created the studio not for sale, but in order to be able to create projects that would be of interest to him personally.
Recall that now in the camp of Kojima Production several projects are being created at once. One of them is Death Stranding 2 with Norman Reedus, and the second game has no details yet (it will be presented at The Game Awards this winter).
