Earlier, the first information about the new game Counter-Strike 2, which is being developed by the Valve studio, appeared on the network. Now journalist Richard Lewis said that, in fact, this is not a completely new game, but an updated old version of the project.
As it turned out, Counter-Strike 2 is the same CS:GO, but on the new Source 2 engine. The developers plan to transfer all player accounts by force, retaining all the accumulated progress. Unfortunately, this means that not everyone will be able to play the new version of the shooting game, since its system requirements will be higher than its predecessor.
In any case, the official announcement of the game has not yet been made, so we are waiting for messages from Valve with specifics about the shooter.
