New movie and series (TV shows) Netflix: February 2022

Inventing Anna – February 11

Ozark star Julia Garner will play notorious con artist Anna Delvey on Shonda Rhimes' TV show. The series, based on Jessica Pressler's New York Magazine article "How Anna Delvey Scammed New York Party People," follows a con artist who moved to New York in 2013 and convinced the city's elite that she was a German heiress. Then, quite expectedly, she swindled them out of their money. Also starring Laverne Cox, Arian Moayed and Anna Chlumsky.

The Cuphead Show! (The Cup Show!) - February 18

Based on the popular video game Cuphead, the new Netflix animated series follows the (evil) adventures of the title character and his brother Mugman. The pair fight various "bosses" familiar to fans of the game - Ribby and Crox, Grim Matchstick, King Dice and the Devil.

Vikings: Valhalla – February 25

The TV show takes place 100 years after the original History Channel series, in a time when the Vikings took over England, took control of Normandy in France, and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean. However, their time in England is coming to an end. We learn about the adventures of some of the most famous Norwegian men and women - Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), Freydis Eiriksdottir (Frida Gustavsson), Harald the Harsh (Leo Suter) and others.
