Old Skies is a stunning point-and-click game where you travel through time on behalf of wealthy clients. However, don't think it's going to be easy - there are all sorts of time paradoxes and puzzles to solve.

This is exactly what our Old Skies guide is for — it will help you go through all the trials from start to finish, chapter by chapter. We only mention dialogue options if they are really important; otherwise, if it says to talk to a character, then you need to discuss everything available with him.

If you get stuck on a particular puzzle, you can use the text search function (CTRL-F) to find the keywords you need. The page also contains a table of contents that allows you to quickly jump to the puzzle you need. Although this is not a plot summary, this Old Skies guide does contain spoilers.

Chapter 1: Dinner is Served

Once you gain control of Fia, talk to the man at the bar, then head to ChronoZen HQ to pick up your first client. Your first mission will take you to April 14, 2024.



You arrive there with Dr. Joe Anderson. Talk to the doctor to wake him up. The door is locked - try to open it with a multi-tool (unsuccessfully), then call your handler - Nozzo.

How to open the landing pad door

Talk to Dr. Anderson, tell him you're stuck and ask for a ride. Then interact with the padlock to start a conversation with Nozzo. Search the archive for information about Rastar, then open the Lost Combination FAQ to find out you need the code on the back of the padlock.

To read the code, you'll need to clean the lock first. Take the rag from the sign. Talk to the doctor through the door to make sure he's okay, then head down the street to the Silver Flare Diner. Use the rag to pick up the dripping lube oil by the fence.



Return to the landing pad, turn the lock over and wipe it with a rag. You will see a serial number: RLS-332. Return to the archive, enter the number in the Lost Combination FAQ section and get the code: 32-4-24. Open the lock.

On the Trail of Dr. Anderson

Go to Silver Flare Diner, Dr. Anderson will run away. Follow him and in the alley take the piece of paper from under the box, and also search the trash for a broken PFE. Return to the landing pad to get a new weapon - WEG Mark Four.

Head back to the diner and ask the waitress if she knows Joe Anderson. Ask her about Andy, his college name, and she'll give you the address: Brittany Hall. Go there and open the door with the multi-tool.

Examine the piece of paper found in the alley - it will indicate where Andy/Joe's room is. Use the computer, look through the emails to get new contacts in the archive. In the trash, you will find the text of a letter sent on behalf of Lisa Sandman, in which Anderson ridicules the professor.



Look for Lisa Sandman in the archives, then return to the Silver Flare Diner and ask the waitress about Professor Foster to learn her name. In the archives, look for Rona Foster - this will give you the address of the NYU Chemistry Department.

Thwarting Dr. Anderson's plans

In the NYU Chemistry Department, use the multi-tool to open the door where Lisa Anderson works. She is trying to delete a fake letter from Joe. Talk to her, then use the multi-tool on the door again.

In the office, you need to access the computer. Look at the note on the table - it contains a hint to the password. Find Oliver Foster in the archive and study his photo - it contains the password: Zeus.



Talk to Lisa about the roof, then climb out the window onto the fire escape - you'll see Dr. Anderson there. Whatever you say, you'll eliminate him. Back in the future, head to Jay V's for a drink, then head home, ending the chapter.

Chapter 2: Champion of Time

Escape from the landing point

After speaking with Chloe Sadar, your new client, you travel back to October 1871 to find out why a boxer named Simon Inman suddenly retired. As before, the door to the landing spot is locked. This time, however, the task is simpler: ask Chloe to give you a lift - she will kick the door down with a vengeance.

The Search for Simon Inman



Once outside, head to Ida's Arena, where Ida herself is sitting at the counter. Ask her if she knows Simon. When she starts to evade, insist on yours. Then talk to Brian and watch his reaction - after that, press him about Simon. This will allow you to learn Brian's last name - Mason, and confirm that it was he who lost the fight to Simon.

Show Brian the newspaper clipping and ask why he thinks Simon is a criminal. Then talk to Ida again, ask about the same thing, and at the same time inquire about the oyster shop. Now head there. The oyster seller will confirm that Simon is the same thug who recently blackmailed her. Discuss everything with her - she will direct you to the bar "Barking Dog".

How to Survive a Skirmish in The Barking Dog

At the bar, ask the barmaid about Simon. At this point, he will appear himself, and you will find yourself in an extremely dangerous situation - if you hesitate, you and Chloe will be shot. Don't panic: whatever you choose - "Restore", "Start again" or "Exit" - Nozzo will rewind time.

This is the first of many instances where the game requires you to die in order to progress. This isn't a failure - it's part of a gameplay mechanic that relies on repetition and learning from your own deaths.

  • Cycle 1 : Say anything to Clara. Simon will appear a second time. Choose "say nothing" twice, then command Clara to shoot. This will prove she is bluffing.
  • Cycle 2 : Take the billiard ball and place it where Simon usually stands. Talk to Clara and tell her to stay calm. Again, remain silent twice. When Simon approaches, tell her that Clara is lying. He will trip on the ball and fall.

Keeping an eye on Simon

Talk to Chloe outside, then go back inside and continue asking Clara about Simon until she mentions Patrick's father. Find Patrick Inman in the archives and head to the ruined Inman house. You'll find Simon there.

Complete all dialogues. Unfortunately, Simon will commit suicide, and you will not be able to prevent it. Check his biography in the archive - the story has changed, but not for the better.

Saving Simon Part One

Chloe decides she wants to try to save Simon, and Nozzo agrees, whether you like it or not. You are now sent to April 1871, the day of the ill-fated battle. For convenience, we will call the time periods “night” and “day”.

In the night version of time, go to the Barking Dog and talk to Brian Mason. He admits that he doesn't want to fight and drinks heavily. Ask the oyster seller everything - she speaks of Simon with admiration.

Now head to the Inmans' house and talk to Simon and his sister Paula on all available topics. This will unlock access to the daytime point. In the daytime, visit the oyster shack again to learn about the Breakdown Boys gang.

Find information about the gang in the archive - this will open the location Fish Market "Badger". During the day, there will be a silent guy who is of little use. Switch to night and hack the door with a multi-tool. Use the tool on the painting on the wall to illuminate it - this will lead to your death, but will give you important information.

Go back to the archive and look at the photo of Patrick Inman - they are the same person. Visit Patrick, talk about the gang and the photo. Alas, the dialogue will lead nowhere.

Travel to the present day at Badger Market and talk to the fisherman - call him Eddie Inman. Tell him about Simon's death. When he leaves, open the door with the multi-tool, examine the doll on the chair, use the tool on its string and read the note:

  • First things first
  • With Michael - to the left
  • Jill and Mary lead the way
  • With Jack - step to the right

Don't forget to also check out Ida's arena and memorize Brian's punch sequence:

  • left, right, left, left, right, right, left, right.

Talk to Eddie and he will reveal the terrible truth - Paula died in the forest on the night of the battle.

How to save Paula in the forest

To save Simon, you must first save his sister. Go to the Inmans' house at night and take the book from the couch. It contains important information:

  • Jack = stump
  • Jill = pile of rocks
  • Michael = fallen log
  • Mary = bridge

Compare with the note and move in the forest along the route: forward, right, left, forward, forward.

Use the weapon to split the tree stump that Paula is trapped under. She will be saved. Return to the daytime and witness Eddie kill Simon.

Saving Simon Part Two

Go to the market again and talk to the now living Paula. Bring up the topic of the magazine that Simon and Eddie were discussing. Paula will show you where it is hidden. Go to night time, sneak inside and take the magazine.

It contains payments to Ida's arena. Go there during the day and present the evidence. Brian will admit that he sold out and deliberately lost the fight.

Now - to the night bar, where in a conversation with Brian, accuse him of bribery. Clara will throw you out, but Brian himself will bring you back. Another time loop awaits you.

How to beat Brian Mason

  • Cycle 1: No matter what you say, he knocks you out.
  • Cycle 2: Refuse to deny the bribe. Then apply a combination of evasions based on the training sequence:
  • left, right, left, left, right, right, left, right.

Brian will run out of strength and confess. Later you will see Simon beat him for his corruption right in the arena.

Denouement

Return to the Inmans' house. Chloe will say a few words. When Fia shows up, she won't be able to use her weapon due to Eddie's high "importance rank." Talk to Nozzo about the gang and that it may have a new leader.

Now choose the following lines on behalf of Chloe:

  • "Tell him that Eddie wants Simon to be his successor."
  • "You'd make a great gang leader, Simon."

Then go through all the other dialogue options.

As Fia, either stun or destroy Eddie. Watch the events unfold. The finale involves a visit to Jay V's and then a return home. Chapter complete.

Chapter 3: Time Doesn't Pay

Head to the gallery in the park to meet a client named Imani (you can talk to Nozzo, but even if you don't, the game will automatically direct you to her). Examine the central painting, after which a dialogue will follow, and you will be sent back in time - August 18, 1923. After another conversation, go to the address Imani gives - to a shop called Granted Gems .

How to find a painting in Granted Gems

Talk to the shop owner - he will say that he does not have any painting. Show him the photo and choose the option: "Do you see a painting in this photo?" Press him with the photo, then open the inventory and use the currency module to offer a bribe.

In the back room, ask him about the painting's origins, its previous owner, and where it can be found. After that, head to Jackson Grant's house.

Meeting with Jackson Grant

Imani will notice another painting of Pie Sycamore. Talk to Jackson Grant (he will mention his daughter Elizabeth), and at some point Imani will become ill - it will turn out that she is related to him. After talking to her outside, you will both return to the landing zone, where Imani will leave you.

Unexpected witnesses

Talk to the witnesses - it will become clear that the woman is Elizabeth. She will agree to help you track down Pie Sycamore's paintings, but in exchange she will ask you to get rid of the policeman standing outside Jackson Grant's house.

How to remove a police officer

Go to Jackson's house and ask him about the cop - he will mention part of the name. Then go outside and address the cop as Officer Mitchell to learn the second part of the name.

Go to the archive and find Mitchell Santina - study all the information, especially the name of his wife. Better take a screenshot or write everything down, it will be useful later.

Talk to the policeman again and tell him you have a message from his wife. Elizabeth and her husband will steal the car. Regardless of your actions, Jackson will go unpunished.

Search for Elizabeth and the car

Outside, find Mitchell Santina in the archives again and examine the fake service to find out where the accident happened. Before going there, return to the landing point and grab the jug.

At the crash site, fill a jug with water from the puddle in front of the wreckage and splash it on Elizabeth and her husband to get their attention. This will reveal her husband's name to be Arthur.

How to calm down officer Santin

As you are about to follow the couple, Officer Santina appears. If you do not say the right words to him, he will shoot you to cover up the loss of the car. You can use the time rewind, but to stay alive, you need to say the following (based on the information from the archive):

  • This is not like you
  • I know you well enough, you have impeccable service.
  • Remember your family
  • Your wife
  • Who will read her novels?
  • Your children
  • They want to be like you
  • You yourself
  • Do you want to teach?

After that, look into the rear window of the car, take the woman's handbag, open it in the inventory and examine the matchbox - it will indicate the place where Elizabeth and Arthur went.

How to get to Contis cafe

Go to the Contis Cafe and knock. You'll need a password to enter. Return to Jackson Grant and ask about the cafe - he'll tell you Arthur's last name: Camron. Find Elizabeth Camron and Arthur Camron in the archive .

To get the password, convince Jackson that Elizabeth will be fine. Tell him that you saw her future and describe the photo from the archive.

Now go back to the cafe and use the password: "Blue Maddy sent me" - the door will open.

How to remove Elizabeth from the scene

Talk to Arthur and he will tell you that the paintings were painted by his mother. To find out more, you need to get Elizabeth off the stage.

Talk to the bartender about Elizabeth, ask him about the spotlights, then ask him to dim the lights. He will refuse. Then talk to Arthur and offer to turn off all the lights in the room.

Use the multi-tool on the box on the floor next to the bar to open it, then interact with the device again to disable the microphone.

"Insist" option appears . Eventually, you will receive Arthur's mother's address. Go to Pie Sycamore's house.

Meeting Pie Sycamore

Examine the second mailbox from the bottom with the signature P. Camron . Enter the elevator and use the multi-tool on the panel.

Inside the apartment, turn on the light, lift the blanket on the bed and find a handle. Place it in the plate with a hole and turn it - this will trigger a meeting with Pie Sycamore. After that, leave - Imani will be in danger, and you need to get to Granted Gems urgently .

How to help Arthur and Elizabeth during the robbery

There's no way to stop the robbery - the only way is to help them survive. Get to Granted Gems and talk to them. When they ask if you'll go with them, say you're in. But if you go inside right away, the store owner will shoot you. So say you need time.

Go into the shop, examine the microscope, then ask the shop assistant about it. After that, go out and tell Elizabeth and Arthur that you need the decoration.

Go back and give the shopkeeper Elizabeth's ring. While he's examining it, go to the thermostat by the door and turn it up. Step out - he'll take off his jacket and the gun will be out of reach.

Now tell Arthur and Elizabeth to get started. Follow them without saying anything. Enter the back room and prepare for several painful loops, each ending in your death.

How to open a jewelry store safe

  • Loop 1 : Ask Elizabeth to open the safe. When she forgets the combination, listen to her words. Hover over the safe - you will recognize the first number: 09 . Wait for the development of events.
  • Loop 2 : Now ask Danny to open the safe. He will pull out a gun. Hover over the safe dial - you will find out the last number: 23 .
  • Loop 3 : In the archive, find Jackson Grant , then his wife Olivia Grant - you will learn that she died in 1918. Combination: 09-18-23 .

Go back to the back room, say you'll open the safe, and enter the combination.

After the robbery, the couple will ask you to choose a new last name for them - they will choose a similar one and it will be briefly mentioned later. Possible options:

  • Nozzo → Nash
  • Fia → Finley
  • Quin → Quentin

Farewell to Pai

Finally, return to Pie Sycamore (aka Paul) and talk to her. Turn the handle - a powerful twist awaits you. After that, in the present, finish the conversation with Daffy.

At home, go to the Chrono-Zen computer and click on Personic - you will learn that, in fact, you do not exist. Then go to bed to complete the chapter.

Chapter 4: Hourly Lock

Rush to Chrono-Zen HQ to hear the bad news about Daffy. Then head to the gallery in the park and talk to Imani. After a short nap, head back to Chrono-Zen to meet your next client, Benjamin Pasamon. He wants you to travel to June 23, 2042 and give him back control of his old business.

How to open the door and get to Leaves in Old Skies

Talk to the man at the door and find out his name is Sam Dean. After that, find out information about him: he was arrested for industrial espionage. Tell him that you know why he is here. When he starts to object, find information about the Sterling agency.

Now select the following dialogue options:

  • About your temporary employment agency.
  • Sterling is using you.
  • They want you to write a report on what you've learned.
  • They have a very strict security system.

Then pick up the card that Sam dropped and use it on the scanner by the door. After a bout of nausea, you'll enter.

Get rid of Madison

To return control to Ben, you need to stop Madison from giving a presentation. Go upstairs and talk to Ben and Madison of the present. They will ask you to fix the broken drone. Examine the drone on the table, go into the workshop and take the wire. Use it to fix the drone.

To get rid of Madison, you need to sabotage the drone so that it explodes using Ben's explosive spray. In the workshop, look for a panel. There will be three groups of three words. Saying one word from each group in the correct order will activate the explosion:

  1. Melon, Tense, Jump
  2. Cup, Paper, Arrow
  3. Buddo, Dilly, Zoiper

Now go back to Madison and tell her to take a break. Ask if she needs help choosing words for her presentation. Choose words that sound similar to the ones listed above, one from each group:

  • Intense, Aromatic, Speedy

Now go back to the workshop, use the glow panel, select Tense, Arrow and Dilly, press "generate". Take the PasaGel explosive gel and spray it on the green drone. Put the spray back on the generator. Tell Madison to practice the presentation again and watch the chaos.

Go outside, use the card on the reader and tell Ben that Madison is unavailable. Done. Then return to the gallery and talk to Imani. Chapter complete... or is it?

Bring back Madison

No, it's not over yet - your client is Madison now, and she wants to take back control. Forward to 2024 again.

Go to Leaves. Ben gives you some trash to get rid of. Go to the break room - the door next to the cooler. Try to open the trash can, but it will do nothing. Use the panel on the wall and select "burn". Kick the can to knock it over. Put the trash on the panel and press "dispose". Then leave the break room.

Open the main door and you will meet yourself. Nozzo will rewind time to prevent the disaster. Exit the break room and hide under the table. Use the card on the panel to open the door to your other self.

Go to the landing pad, then return to the main door. Go into the break room again to trigger Madison's accident. Leave it and go into Cassie's office - the next door on the left.

Ask Cassie if everything is okay, then ask about the janitor until she says he called himself "Plant Master." Go back to the break room and use "Plant Master" as the password to open the locker. Take the jacket.

Now go up and put the jacket on the remaining drone - it will take it to Madison. Nozzo will tell you that they did the presentation together. Go to the landing pad and get out.

Go back to the gallery again, then to ChronoZen. It's not over yet.

Put Cassie in charge

Your client is now Cassie, and in 2042 you need to get rid of both Madison and Ben. After arriving, follow Ben into the vertical farm - the door on the right. He will ask you to get a magnet from the break room, but you need to act quickly to avoid running into your other self.

Here's what you need to do:

  • Take the magnet from the table.
  • Get into the trash can.
  • Use the magnet on the lid.
  • Use the multi-tool to open the cap on the pipe (PC: RMB - deselect).
  • Take a rag from the floor.
  • Use a rag on the end of the pipe.

After that, go to the vertical farm and watch Madison enter in a dirty suit. You will automatically exit. Talk to her, she will start meditating. Now you can do the next two tasks - in any order.

How to get rid of Ben

Ben is into Sam, so set them up on a date. Go upstairs and tell Ben it's important. In his workshop, ask him about Sam. Continue the conversation and offer to go for coffee with Sam.

When he says the presentation is coming up, ask how soon. He'll check the time and leave the touchscreen on. Change it to Pacific Time.

Talk to Ben again, ask if he's sure he won't make it for coffee. Deceived by time, he'll leave with Sam. Done.

Get rid of Madison again

Use the touch screen again and read the conversation - there will be a mention of Madison falling asleep on the train.

Go to Cassie's office downstairs and read the note - it says Madison uses #LF502 before going to bed. Ask Cassie about Madison and she'll tell you she fell asleep at Haskins' concert. Go back to the workshop and look at the paper - #LF502 is lavender scent.

Now go to the vertical farm and prepare it for sleep. Use the panel and select the following settings:

  • Music: Emil Haskins Opus #3
  • Ambient Sound: Train
  • Aroma: Lavender

After that, talk to Cassie in the lobby, explaining the situation. She'll give a presentation. But just as you're about to leave, Madison and Ben show up in the present-day lab and kill Nozzo. You need to fix that.

Save Nozzo from Ben and Madison

To stop Ben, you need to use explosive spray on his shoes. Listen to the video for possible code words and remember the time: November 10, 2062, 6:00 PM.

Reminder: You need to choose one word from each group:

  1. Melon, Tense, Jump
  2. Cup, Paper, Arrow
  3. Buddo, Dilly, Zoiper

Similar words are melancholy , capricious , but oh no , so choose: Melon, Cup, Buddo .

Go to the workshop, create the spray and apply it to the shoes. You can watch the video again, but now Madison kills Nozzo.

To stop Madison, you need to hack her weapon. Read the on-screen chat about her WEG gun to find out the frequency. Return the PasaGel blasting gel and go to Cassie's office.

Take the Virus Device from Cassie's office drawer. Activate it and set the following parameters:

  • Explosion frequency: 638.52
  • Day: 10
  • Month: 11
  • Year: 2062
  • Time: 18:00

Now click "Run" and watch the inventory recording. Back in the present, finish the conversation at Jay V's to finish the chapter.

Chapter 5: Time/11

Now, head to work at ChronoZen. Your client is detective Hannah Tanaka, and her goal is to save her best friend, Yvonne. Yes, you arrived on September 10, 2001, the day before 9/11, so get ready for a pretty weird chapter.

How to Stop Nick Cord in Old Skies

The first task is to stop Nick Cord, who later confessed to killing Yvonne. Talk to Yvonne until she gives you his address, then head there.

Once Nick is tied up, he needs to be incapacitated for a few hours. Pick up the note from the floor and examine it - it describes the effects of Nick's various drugs. Rosemary Hush is a sleeping pill. Open the kitchen drawer and take the bottle with the green label: Rosemary Hush.

Now open the fridge, take a bottle of malt liquor, mix it with Rosemary Hush and give the resulting mixture to Nick. He will fall asleep, which means he will not be able to kill Yvonne.

However, Yvonne still dies. Study Nick's confession in the inventory - it turns out that another killer was hired.

Yvonne's Trace

The next task is not to find a new killer, but to track down Yvonne Lozzotti herself. Go to her house (Lozzotti Residence) and open the door with the multi-tool.

Use the phone, listen to both messages, then study the drawings on the table to the left of the door. Look at the photo and remember the door number. Finally, get the crumpled paper from the trash can.

Now find Winera and head to the Two World Trade Center. At the Windows on the World restaurant, talk to Em, who is sitting alone at a table. When the conversation ends, talk to her again. After all topics have been exhausted, talk to Hannah, then return to the tower and visit Winera.

How to Get the Village Eye Door Code in Old Skies

Sit down at the computer and read all the letters. The second letter will give you the location of Yvonne's newspaper, The Village Eye, but don't go there yet. Also, in the letter with the subject "re: Better than DNT" find the DNT channel number.

Now find Dion Lozzotti via search and go to Washington Square to talk to him. Ask him about everything and remember the name of his hometown. It may differ in different playthroughs - I encountered Threebrook and Twobrook.

Now to the combination for the Village Eye lock:

  • First digit: the name of the city of Dion (three if Threebrook, two if Twobrook).
  • Second and third digits: DNT channel number.
  • The fourth and fifth digits are the room number in the dorm where Yvonne and Hannah lived.

The approximate code is 31084, but in your case it may be different, so be sure to check the information you received.

On Yvonne's Trail Again

Inside the Village Eye, sit down at the second computer from the left and open Yvonne's email. Note Bob's birthday date, November 6 (11-6), for later use. Open the winera.xls attachment at the bottom of the email to print it.

After you find out that Hannah took bribes, exit the building. Hannah will punch the cop and get arrested. Now head to The Tombs to find out what kind of trouble she's in.

There, talk to the officer Hannah hit and ask to meet her, then go inside. Ask Hannah about everything, then talk to the officer outside again. Ask if charges will be pressed and clarify what sentence awaits Hannah. After that, go to the jump point and go up the stairs to get to the next time period - November 10, 2001.

Saving Imani

Before going further, take a look at the confession in the inventory - now instead of Yvonne, Imani was killed, on the orders of a certain Tanner.

Go to the prison and ask the officer about Hannah - she will say that she does not remember her. Nozzo will not give any useful information either.

Now go to the Village Eye and find Yvonne - she's alive. Use the code panel to start a conversation with her. It will turn out that Hannah died on September 11. After that, access to September will open again.

In September, in prison, ask Hannah about everything - she will admit that Tanner is her, and will tell you about the false name. After that, in November's Village Eye, talk to Yvonne about Hannah's murder - she will say that Imani did it. Yes, everything has become very confusing.

Go to the prison and ask the officer for permission to meet with Imani. She will tell you that you need a press pass.

Obtaining a press pass

To get a press pass, you need to get into the November Village Eye. Yvonne has already mentioned that the code to the door is most likely the editor's birthday.

If you haven't written it down yet, go to the September Village Eye, open Yvonne's computer, and find the letter about Bob's birthday - 11-6. Outside the November office, ask Yvonne why she didn't write about it earlier - she'll mention the editor's age, 40.

2001 minus 40 equals 1971. So, the editor's date of birth is November 6, 1971, or 11-6-71. Enter this code into the panel and enter. The pass is hanging in one of the booths at the entrance.

Saving Imani: Part 2

Return to the prison, show the pass and talk to Imani. Ask her about everything.

Now head to the September World Trade Center and talk to Imani. No matter what answer you give, you'll both end up at her house - where you'll be attacked and shot. Time will begin to rewind, and now your job is to survive.

How to Survive with Imani on 9/11 in Old Skies

  • Cycle 1 : Tell Imani anything.
  • Cycle 2 : Push her, then choose "Let me think." Examine the tree, alley, and trash can. Return to Imani and suggest splitting up: you to the tree, she to the alley. She'll run, you'll get shot.
  • Cycle 3 : Suggest splitting up again, but now you can grab the trash can lid. Follow her, talk to Hannah, call her by name, tell her she's going to kill her best friend. Convince her that it will haunt her for the rest of her life. At some point, future Hannah will shoot anyway. After all the dialogues, either stun her or miss on purpose.

Talk to Imani - you will spend the night with her. To prevent her from going to work on September 11, slip a sleeping pill into her coffee.

To do this:

  • Take the coffee capsule from the drawer.
  • Take a mug by your bed, fill it with water from the sink and pour it into the coffee machine.
  • Insert the capsule and close the slot, press "brew".
  • Take a mug and add Rosemary Hush tablets to it.
  • Give the mug to Imani.

Yes, you literally drugged the girl you just slept with so she would survive 9/11. Now go away.

New meeting with Imani

Talk to the real Imani, then search for her name in the archive. Finally, head to Jay V's to finish the conversation and end the chapter.

Chapter 6: Pastroland

After waking up, head straight to ChronoZen to receive your next quest, which will take you back to July 4, 1993.

The Search for Otis Knox

Go to Boardwalk Books and lean on the fence to find that the signing hasn't happened. Talk to the man who appears and show him the photo. Then go to the Knox family home and knock on the door. After that, talk to the neighbor to find out her name.

Now look at the photo from the signing and study the timestamp and caption. Find the name Adam Cole in the archive , go to that address and open the door with the multi-tool .

Inside, take the key off the hook and turn on the computer. Look at the two photos from the autograph session, then go back and take the quiz .

Now go back to the computer and select Open Sesame to open a panel on the wall that says Present Light... After that, look in the trash can and get a photo.

Tracking down the trail

Return to Knox's house and use the key you found to open the door. Examine the album on the table and the painting above the sink. Open the drawer and take one of the photographs.

Go back to the neighbor and select the Show Family Photograph option . Evelyn will say that Marla is the light of the neighborhood, so go back to Cole's house and use Marla's photo on the wall panel.

Turn on the light downstairs. Click on the car door to see something unexpected. As Nozzo, choose any answer - Nathan Knox will still leave in anger. As Fia, look at the white board to find out Knox's location.

Otis Knox Investigation

Coney Island Beach and talk to Otis and Marla about everything. You found him, but the job isn't over yet.

Return to Boardwalk Books and talk to the man named Liam until the Otis is “good now” option appears . After that, return to Knox’s house and ask the neighbor about “Otis before he was famous” and all related subtopics.

Head back to the bookstore and tell Liam that you know what happened. Continue the conversation until he gives you the address of the Commonwealth Hotel . Keep asking questions until you find out that Otis's change of heart happened 20 years ago. However, you need to know the exact date so Nozzo can send you there.

How to find out the date of change in Otis

You know from Liam that it was about 20 years ago, and Evelyn says it was after Otis sold his first book. Otis's bibliography says his first book was written in 1977, so that's the right year.

The date on the scrapbook in Knox's house is ____ the 14th. Liam also says it was shortly after he bought the bookstore, and Halloween decorations can be seen in the photo of him and Marla.

So the date you need is October 14, 1977. Talk to Nozzo and he will open the tunnel in October 1977.

Investigation at the Commonwealth Hotel

You can go to the hotel and look at the book on the counter, but none of the names will mean anything to you. You need to gather more information first.

Go to Knox's house in 1977 and use the key to enter. Examine the typewriter to learn Liam's last name is Whiteman . Look in the trash can to learn that Otis is a diabetic.

Now go to the Commonwealth Hotel and find the name Whiteman in the log - there will be an entry M. Whitman , click on it. Go into the elevator, turn on the light and look at the body.

Return to the entry point immediately, then travel back to Coney Island Beach in 1993. Tell Otis that you know the truth - that he is a time traveler.

Walking with Daffy will give you Evelyn's last name, Sherman , which will come in handy later. However, Fia now has a serious problem.

Treatment of Fia

poisoned . Return to the entry point immediately, and when Nozzo mentions Quansonic Particles , tell him you have access to them. You need to create Quanmexlin , an antidote. The ingredients can be found through the archive :

  • Blood sample (in syringe)
  • Sodium Nitrate​
  • Buformin

After that, you need to inject the plant with the drug and wait for it to grow. You won't be able to finish everything in half an hour, but you don't have to. Once you take Fia's blood and treat it with Quansonic particles, the syringe will stay with you. Moving between locations takes time, as do some other actions.

Here's what you need to do:

Loop 1:

  • Go to Knox's house and take the syringe from the first aid kit on the wall.
  • Use it on Fia to get a blood sample.
  • Go to Cole's house, go downstairs and process the blood in the syringe using the Quansonic generator.
  • Move between locations until you die.

Loop 2:

  • Go back to 1977 (the tunnel is marked as May 1976 for some reason).
  • Go to the hotel, to the room, and examine the body. Add the diabetes pill containing Buformin to the syringe.
  • Go to Boardwalk Books and look up Evelyn Sherman in the phone book.
  • Move between locations until you die.

Loop 3:

  • Go to Knox's house and call Evelyn Sherman.
  • When she leaves, steal the sodium nitrate from her first aid kit (she explains its purpose if you ask her). Add the nitrate to the syringe with the blood.
  • Go back to 1977 and inject the contents of the syringe into a young seedling.
  • Go back to 1993 and eat the leaves from the sapling. Fia is now cured. You won't be able to find out what decision she will make.

Epilogue

Now you play as Nozzo, go to ChronoZen . After the explosion, go outside and meet Fia. All the dialogue ends with you disabling her Paradox Field Eliminator ( PFE ). You will have one last conversation with Imani - and this is the end of this amazing game full of time paradoxes.


Does Old Skies have multiple endings?

As the credits roll, you may be wondering, "Does Old Skies have multiple endings?" The answer is no , there aren't. Fia may not believe in fate, but no matter what you say or do, her ending won't change .
