The fantastic action film Bright from Netflix has been severely criticized by the profile press. Actor Joel Edgerton stood up for the protection of the film. He was interviewed for publication Collider.
I think so much hatred goes because the film changes the face of the film business. Bright should be judged by public opinion, and not through the prism of critical evaluation.
Edgerton likened Bright to Ryan Johnson’s film Star Wars: The Last Jedi. There is situation the opposite — critics are generally happy, but among the fans there was a split.
Joel believes that filmmakers will still listen to reviews in order to adjust their work in the future. The actor has high hopes for the sequel and noticed that it would be nice to see how the Bright world lives outside of Los Angeles.
