Eldervale is survival-horror with a third-person view in which we control an adult girl. After the mysterious events from childhood, she returns to her hometown and goes to the institute.
After the introductory video in which you can rewind phrases by pressing E, click on the “Space”. The game will begin. Remove the map from the wall on the left by pressing E. Go through the doors on the left, not far from this place. Enter Councelor’s office, study the note on the table and pick up the x3 matches from there. You can inspect the alarm clock. Another match is hidden in one of the drawers of the table.
Exit through the nearest door and find yourself in the corridor of the left wing. Enter cabinet 101 on the left. Go to the teacher’s desk. The lights go out. Light a candle, use one match, and pick up the token x1 teacher’s table.
Go out through the other door. There is the registry office in this corridor on the right hand. Enter it; study the note on the table. Open another door to create a short route to the lobby. Behind the cabinet to the left of the door, you find token x1 on the floor in the reception office.
Go to the end of the corridor, light a candle. The door on the left is locked, so go to the men’s toilet on the right. There is a hole in the back booth. Bend down on the C key and go to the women’s toilet. In one of the booths, a monster is hidden in the toilet. Leave the toilet and go to room 102. Light a second candle at about one o’clock and you will see that they stopped 5 minutes before noon or midnight. There is a match on the right side of the table, and there is a clue on the wall — “time is the key”. Slide the bolt from the second door so that you can return to the first part of the corridor in the left wing.
Don’t rush the clock yet. Return to the hall and examine the table of the guard. On it is a note on the number of students and staff. The door is locked nearby, you need a key. You can go up to the second floor and open the far door on the left. There will be a screen in the room, so you cannot go any further. But on the table by the candle are a match and a token.
The door on the right requires a key. Get down and run to the office, where there is an electronic clock on the table. Set the time to 23:55 and a secret passage will open on the side. Go there, light a candle, and examine the table at the hanging of Dr. Clark. You will find the blue key.
Return to the hall and open the door behind the table. Go through the security office to the kitchen. There is a note from the janitor to the left on the table. Open the fridge in the far corner and get a piece of frozen meat from the freezer. Go through the door to the dining room. Remove the bolt from the door in front to open the way to the hall. Go to the table with a backlit picture. Interact with it to save progress.
