Choose Peacekeepers or Survivors in Dying Light 2?

By capturing/turning on another substation or water tower, you will be able to transfer control to one of the two factions, thereby strengthening its presence in the city. For this you will receive certain bonuses. By zooming out on the map in the game menu, you can see the distribution of the city by sectors and which faction they belong to. It also lists all available upgrades for each object you give to Peacekeepers or Survivors.

Everything is pretty simple. The Peacekeepers will place traps in the city, which will make it easier to fight zombies, and the Survivors will place various springboards and other objects that make it easier to move around the city.

Your relationship with the factions in this regard does not significantly affect the plot of the game. Thus, choosing between them, you do not need to think about the story and how the game will end. The main choice is whether you want to get more traps or you want to make it easier to move around the city. For me, the second option was more than obvious.

However, there are hidden rewards. For example, Peacekeepers after several objects will give you a crossbow.
