Closed altars in Resident Evil 4 Remake

At first, you won't be able to open them. You will have to be patient and not miss the opportunity to find a special old order key that opens such altars. It does not break and fits literally to every altar.

Where to find the key to the altar

Get to the fourth chapter and go through the cave, in which the symbol of the order is located and there are two stone hands. On these hands you must place the stone heads. Exit the cave and there will be a street altar on the right. Contrary to the fact that there are usually locked boxes on the altars, there will be an open case or box, and inside lies the old key of the order. Congratulations, you can now open street altars!
