Phasmophobia guide - how to install the camera

The camera in the horror Phasmophobia is the most useful tool for catching ghosts. You will be able to complete different tasks, the main purpose of which is to find evidence of the existence of a ghost.

This requires strategically placing the cameras to make sure the ghost cannot get past their lenses. The camera is connected to the video recording system inside your team's truck, so you can set up the cameras and then return to the truck to watch the house.

However, the process of properly installing the camera and recording videos is not so simple. Let's figure out where is the best place to install a CCTV camera. You can take the camera itself from the truck at the beginning of the mission. It is on the second shelf from the bottom.

But be careful! Phasmophobia has two types of cameras. One is a regular camera and the other is a video camera. The small silver camera is only used for photography, so look for a large black video camera on the shelves. Take both if you want to increase efficiency and find the ghost faster.

To place the camera, use the following algorithm:

1. Pick it up by pressing E on PC, X or square on Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
2. Find a good place. Hold the camera in your hand to see the contour in the place where it can be installed.
3. To start recording, press LT or L2 on consoles, or RMB on PC. Start recording before installing the camera!
4. To rotate the camera, press A or "X" on consoles, or LMB on PC.
5. Place the camera in the selected location by pressing F on PC, RT/R2 on consoles.

To check if it's recording, go back to the truck, switch to the camera feed and see if a picture is available. If not, go back and repeat the process. It is important to turn on the camera before installing it!
