Souls in Dark Souls 3 are the main currency. When you sell items to merchants, use imprisoned souls, or kill enemies, you will receive souls. You can also purchase various items, spells, weapons for souls, level up or remove dark marks from the Keeper of Fire.

Soul types

Locations for farming souls in Dark Souls 3

• Cleansing Chapel - 900 souls per minute. You will find this place next to the Cathedral of the Deep. Relax by the fire and head to the main door. There will be enemies on the right - deal with them.
• Desecrated Capital - 2500 souls per minute . Head down the stairs from the fire. You need to reach the center of the tower. At the back, you will find a hole. Head counterclockwise. Hit the flying statue and head up the stairs to the tower. Stop in front of the stairs on the ground. An enemy will appear and you can hit him first.
• Grand Archives - 14300 souls at a time. After resting by the fire, head to the stairs on the left. Go upstairs and use the elevator. Keep moving up, you need to get to the very top along the roofs. An enemy with wings will land on the roof. To win - strike in the back.
• Great Belfrey - 5600 souls at a time. If you have unlocked Dragon Peak and defeated the Boss, you can farm on this location.
