Chornobyl Liquidators

A simulator that immerses players in the roles of several liquidators from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident that occurred on April 26, 1986. Players perform various tasks such as putting out fires at the plant, fighting radioactive contamination of the surrounding area, exploring tunnels under the reactor, and cleaning the roof of the power unit from contaminated debris. The characters in the game are fictionalized but inspired by real people. The plot of the simulator covers events from April through September 1986. Among the mechanics there is a stress system, which makes it difficult to complete quests and can even lead to a heart attack of the protagonist. The game provides two possible endings, which depend on the decisions made during the passage.
