In the terminal, running the command

  • moons

you will receive a list of available moons to visit. This list represents possible destinations for your space travel. After selecting a specific moon, you will be interacted with a confirmation window, where you will be asked to choose CONFIRM (accept) or DENY (reject).

You can enter only part of the name of an object, moon or any other word. For example, if you are looking for a professional flashlight, just write "pro", and for the moon "experimentation" use "exp". When confirming your purchase, just enter one letter "c" instead of confirm.

When going to the Moon, it is important to remember that you must be in orbit. You cannot execute the "Assuranse" command while on the "Experimentation" planet and instantly travel to another Moon. The process of going to the Moon requires preliminary steps:

  1. first press the lever to lift off the planet
  2. then enter the command in the terminal to select the desired moon.

This sequence of actions will ensure a successful flight to your chosen destination.

Weather

All moons can experience different types of weather. Except for the first day (when you created? Here's a new save), weather conditions on the moons are completely random. It should be noted that the cost of production does NOT depend on the weather (at the time of version 40). You won't find more valuable parts on a moon with bad weather, so try to avoid landing on such moons unless you want to deal with the surrounding weather hazards.

You can find out the current weather on the moon by checking the list of moons in the terminal.

Clear / No weather

If you don't see a weather type mentioned next to the moon name in the terminal, then you have clear weather. Ideally, this is the type of weather you would most like to play in, as you have no surrounding factors that could hamper or kill you.

Rainy

Little better than clear weather and usually easy to handle. The only thing you'll have to worry about is quickly forming quicksand or mud holes in random places early in the day. Just watch where you're going (look out for large, dark brown spots on the ground) and you'll likely avoid problems. If you accidentally step into one of them, there is a chance to get out if you have enough stamina.

Fog (Foggy)

Not inherently dangerous, but extremely annoying weather to play in. Your vision is severely limited just a few meters ahead - so you'll need to make sure you know whereand you go. Also worth noting: fog does not affect your visibility to other creatures - they can see you through the fog from afar, even if you cannot see them. I would avoid visiting the moon with this weather if possible.

Flooded

Similar to rain, but moderately more dangerous and difficult to play. The outdoor map will become more and more flooded as time passes and the water level slowly rises. This water is not necessarily dangerous to be in, but you will be greatly slowed down in it and you may drown if the water level rises above your head. Some maps are better suited for this type of weather.

Stormy

Also similar to rain, but MUCH more dangerous. Lightning strikes in random places at unpredictable intervals, and any metal equipment (particularly shovels and ladders) or metal will conduct electricity - which can cause lightning to strike those metal objects. You will see and hear them sparkling a few seconds before. If you are holding a metal object (or are close enough to it) when lightning strikes it, you will be killed instantly. If you see or hear your items sparking, immediately drop them and run several meters away to avoid being struck by lightning. Try to limit the number of metal objects when moving outdoors toyou had less stuff to dump when you hear/see your stuff sparkling.

It should also be noted that your ship can also be struck by lightning and then its power will be cut off. Luckily, you can immediately turn on the lights/cameras in your ship if this happens.

Eclipse (Eclipsed)

The worst weather you can see on the moon. The sun is eclipsed from the very beginning of the day - this means that outdoor monsters also appear immediately at the beginning, making it dangerous to move outside.

Avoid landing on an eclipsed moon at all costs. It's too risky most of the time, and you'd be better off with almost any other type of weather.
