How to add The Finals to a party

If you're a fan of multiplayer first-person shooters, you've probably already heard of The Finals, a fast-paced team-based shooter with a focus on destruction. The game was created taking into account team interaction, so many people want to know how to invite friends to the same team.

Adding friends to The Finals is a complex process, so many will run into issues ranging from bugs with invites to finding Embark IDs and crossplay settings. Don't worry, we will give you detailed instructions!

How to invite friends to The Finals

To invite friends to The Finals, follow these steps to first add them as friends and then invite them to your room:

1. From the main menu, click one of the "Invite to Party" buttons next to your character.
2. Click the yellow "Add Friend" button in the lower right corner.
3. Enter your friend's Embark ID and click "Add as Friend".
4. Once your friend is added, click the yellow "+" button next to their name to invite them.

By following these steps, you can easily add your friends to The Finals and invite them to your party to play together.

You can also add a friend you just played with using the "Add Friend" button at the bottom of the summary screen, where the game shows you the table after the match.

How to Find Your Embark ID in The Finals

To invite a friend to play The Finals with you, you need their Embark ID. To find your Embark ID, follow these steps: Click on the "Social" icon in the top right corner of the main menu (it's the two-person icon). Then look in the top left corner of your screen to see your Embark ID next to the word “Social.”

Your Embark ID must be a name (either your own in-game name or a randomly generated name) followed by a four-digit hash code. Ask your friend to tell you the full identifier - the name, as well as the hash code at the end. You will need to enter their entire name in the "Add Friend" field to add them as a friend and then invite them to your room.

How to Create an Embark ID for The Finals

You and your friends will need individual Embark IDs to invite each other and play The Finals together. If you don't have an Embark ID, go to the Embark Studios website. Click on the platform of your choice (Steam, Playstation or Xbox) and follow the on-screen instructions to link your platform account to Embark. This action will generate an Embark ID, which you can find in the game by following the instructions above.

You may need to verify your Embark account after the firstth entrance. To do this, check your email at the address you used to sign in (the email address associated with the platform account you are using). Be sure to also check your spam folder in case the email was mistakenly placed there! To verify your account, simply follow the link in the email from Embark - your Embark ID should then be ready to share with friends.
