The secret to moving in Warhammer 40000: Rogue Trader

So, there are four types of routes - deadly (red), orange, yellow and the safest green. The higher the level of danger when moving along a particular route, the higher the likelihood that someone will attack the ship, and you will have to be distracted by an unnecessary battle with a large enemy group. This is why it is tempting to spend Navigator's Intuition on reducing the threat level.

However, I do not recommend doing this, since the Navigator's Intuition is useful for moving to other systems, a route to which cannot be built in any other way. You have to click from any other planet and spend 3 Navigator's Intuition to create a new, deadly route.

So, click on any system you want to move to and initiate the upload. Now quickly save by pressing F5. If a battle begins and Master Vigdis reports it, click “Finish” and on the squad selection screen press F8. You will perform a quick reboot, after which you will find yourself on the planet where you decided to move, and you won’t have to fight anyone!
