Gift to the Archer in Dragon's Dogma 2

Meet Glindr standing next to Roderick's Smithy in the Vernworth Merchant District. He wants a human bow, but he doesn't think it's fair for an elf to buy one himself. Help him to start the quest "A Gift to the Archer".

To get a bow for Glyndra, bring him any suitable bow from your inventory or buy the cheapest Hunting Bow from Roderick at the forge for 4,240 gold.

After you give him the bow, talk to Glyndr again. He will tell you his story: he could not pass the difficult test that is put before every elf to become an adult according to the customs of his people, and decided to look for alternative paths.

To complete the quest "The Archer's Gift", help Glindr prepare for the "Arrow Trial" he must pass. To do this, change your character class in the Vernworth Vocations Guild to an archer for 100 discipline points if you previously chose the path of a mage, fighter or thief. Only in this case will you be able to pick up a bow and demonstrate your target shooting skills.

Head to Glyndra's training area

Head northwest of Vernworth and find Glyndra in the ruins where he usually trains. To get there quickly from Melve, make sure to drop the stairs at the Ancestral Resting Place earlier. The path can be dangerous due to many monsters, cyclops or even dragons, as there are no carts north of Trevo Mine.

Help Glindr practice with his new bow by showing him your form and showing him how to shoot a human bow. Take aim and hit the target to complete the mission and prepare Glyndra for the test.

Glindr will try it himself and will be amazed: the technique of people suits him much better, because you need to shoot with your hand, not with your heart. This way he will be able to successfully pass the Arrow Test. Receive rewards from the inspired elf, and the secondary quest will be completed.
