Walkthrough of Dragon's Dogma 2: House of the Blue Sunflower

To start the quest "House of the Blue Sunflower", you must first complete the quest "The Hand of the Giver Will Not Become Scarce." After this, go to the stone stairs leading from the slums to the streets of Wernworth. Diana will stop you near the fence and ask for help. Accept the quest and the next objective will open.

As part of the quest "House of the Blue Sunflower" you will have to help Sebastian find his double and collect all the necessary items for his journey. One of the key tasks will be collecting supplies, which will determine the further development of the quest, its ending and possible reward. Please note that failure to complete an order may deprive you of your reward.

Visit the estate

Go to the Townsend estate, where you need to talk with the maid Diana. Soon Sebastian himself will come down to you, who will explain the essence of the task. The young master needs to go to Melve to buy a gift for his sick mother. He cannot leave without permission, because he is too worried about his mother’s health, so he asks to find a girl who is very similar to him.

Sebastian's double

Sebastian’s double will be Daphnia, whom you helped during the task “The hand of the giver will never fail.” Go to the Slums and move to the left of the church. You will find a girl near the nearest tent.

Sometimes Daphnia may be elsewhere, walking around the area near the Gracious Hand. However, you can often find it right next to the mentioned “apartment”. Since you previously helped Daphnia a lot with collecting resources, fulfilling her instructions, she without hesitation agrees to act as Sebastian’s double.

Talk to Daphnia and escort her to the estate where you previously talked with Sebastian's maid. The girl will follow you straight: although she will try to run, she will not succeed, so it is recommended to stop from time to time and wait for Daphnia. On the map you should focus on the yellow diamond, and if difficulties arise, you can always take the girl in your arms and carry her.

Having reached the estate and finished talking with Sebastian, follow the young man to the kitchen. When he stands in the passage, talk to him again. After his remark, go to Daphnia and Diana.

Diana will mention that there are many poisonous plants around Melve, so the boy needs an antidote. Also, the miasma may cause Sebastian to fall asleep, so he will need some medicine. Daphnia will mention various dangers from which the smell of a cyclops can save you.

After talking with Daphnia and Diana, do not talk to Sebastian until you have found all the necessary items. Once the delivery window opens, nothing can be canceled: the young man will go on the road with what he has, no matter how many items you hand him. If you miss any supplies, the quest may fail.

Find supplies

To help Sebastian, you need to purchase an antidote and awakening powder. They can be purchased at Filbert's Thousand Little Things store for 500 and 400 gold, respectively. You can also make an antidote from blueroot and syrup leaf, and an awakening powder from two units of bigleaf. All the necessary ingredients can be found near the capital, for example, next to the Cyclops. Both drugs are also sold by Oriol, who will provide a discount for completing the Medicinal Affairs side quest.

To obtain the “Cyclops Stench,” you need to defeat the corresponding monster and knock out a massive bone or an ugly eye from it. The closest location is located northwest of the city. To fight the Cyclops, it is recommended to take a warrior and a magician or sorcerer into your squad.

Return to Sebastian and give him the antidote, awakening powder and ugly eye. After that he will hit the road. Diana will thank you and offer to return in a few days for a reward.

Wait about a day and return to the estate. Go home or to a hotel to rest, or just do a few time rewinds on a bench. When it is possible to return to Sebastian, one of the pawns will offer to return to the estate.

If you didn't give Sebastian one of the previously mentioned items, he will get into trouble:

• Ugly Eye: It will be attacked by enemies.
• Antidote: He will die on the trip.
• Wake-up powder: will fall asleep on the side of the road.

If Sebastian has not returned, you will hear from Diana that he is missing. Travel to Melve by cart to rescue him. Find the boy on the side of the road. If you don't have time, Daphnia will take his place.

Returning to the estate with Sebastian, watch the cut-scene during which Natasha scolds Diana. Find out that Natasha may be Daphnia's mother. Receive your reward and complete the quest.
