Settlement Approval

Settlement Approval in Manor Lords is a special resource that describes how happy the residents of your settlement are with the current state of affairs. To increase it, it is important to provide food, fuel and shelter for all residents.

• Start by building houses/facilities for all families.
• Build a barn and a warehouse for families to move supplies left outdoors inside. Secure two families.
• Build a market. The market will have stalls from families working on the barn and warehouse.
• Create a hunting camp, a gathering hut to provide food for the population.
• Build a well and a wooden church.

When you build a homestead, do not set the taxation (land tax) level above 3%. If the Approval is high enough (e.g. above 70%), you may exceptionally set a high tax to earn more Regional Endowment.
