Drifting Cavity: Depths of ZZZ is the fourth mission of the Watch Your Step event, which became available on July 27. In this guide, we will explain how to solve the puzzles and collect all the AIC data samples.
This mission is designed to introduce the mechanics of the level and use timed bombs to destroy brick walls and open passages. Following the indicated route, you will be able to collect all the chests and resources.
After entering the cavern, move to the right and down to plant the bomb on the spot marked with a cross in the screenshot. Make sure to move to the side to avoid the explosion (horizontal and vertical radius from the bomb).
After destroying the brick walls, grab the purple chest and head to the rift in the lower right corner, which will take you to the second floor of the cavern.
On the second floor, first go left for a purple chest. Then take a step up, two steps to the right and one more step up to plant the bomb in the right place.
After that, move right and up to get the purple chest and exit the explosion zone. When the wall is destroyed, go to the rift in the upper left corner, which will take you to the third floor of the cavern.

On the third floor, plant the bombs so that one detonates the other. Take a step down and two steps to the right to place the bomb correctly.
Then go up and right to get the purple chest and exit the explosion zone. When the path is clear, move to the gold chest and the exit in the lower right corner.
To complete the task, fight the Ethereals, the fight will begin after moving to the finish cell.
The Hard Mission will unlock after completing the Normal Mission. To reach the maximum rank and rewards, you must collect 5 AIC data samples.
After the Hard Mission starts, repeat the Normal route to destroy the brick wall and clear a path to the rift in the lower right corner.
On the second floor, step up and wait for the bomb to fall down and cause a powerful explosion. Then follow it back down to the first floor.
On the first floor, collect the AIC data sample and use the rift in the lower left corner to return to the second floor of the cavern.
You will be transported to a corner blocked by brick walls. Go to the rift above you to get to the third floor of the cavern.
Here, you need to drop three bombs into the hole in the center. Follow the route in the screenshot to do this and collect the two AIC data samples. Once all the bombs have been dropped, follow them back down to the second tier.
Now the path to the remaining two AIC data samples will be clear. Collect them and head to the rift in the upper left corner, which will take you to the finish tile. After that, the fight with the Ethereals will begin.
