As part of the city's summer celebration, you'll be able to
hunt for valuable trophies, take part in arcade challenges in warehouses, and
try a special variety of Camellia coffee.
The event will be available from August 21 to 03:59 Moscow
time on September 23, 2024. In this guide, we will take a detailed look at the
passage of the "Golden Camellia Week" event in ZZZ, tell you how to
successfully complete story orders and explore the C41 subcavern, and also
share information about additional bonuses in the form of cups of coffee and
rewards that can be obtained for participating in the event.
The "Golden Camellia Week" event in Zenless Zone
Zero can only be started by fulfilling a number of requirements, including
reaching Internot level 34 and completing the third chapter of the main story,
"Midnight Quest". If these conditions are met, the introductory quest
will automatically appear in the daily log, where you can track it and begin
completing the steps to prepare for the "gold rush".
During the event, the player will have to take part in various
activities that will provide rewards and progress in the main event of update
1.1. One of these elements of the event is the ability to get additional
portions of coffee in an establishment called "Koff-cafe". During the
day, you can take a special drink "Camellia" twice, which will bring
60 units of stamina for each repeated intake.
To achieve 100% progress in the process of hacking warehouse
zones, you will need to collect special "Data Chips" that open access
to the exploration of territories. During the task, you may encounter obstacles
in the form of puzzles and battles with monsters, and only a complete hack of
all zones will open access to the final area, where the "Built-in Entry
Control" cage is located.
An important element of this event is the "Hot Mist
Amplifier", which works like a Banbu plugin and is able to convert the
ether in infected cells to denny. This opens up additional mysteries and new
possibilities for research. The use of the amplifier is limited to beacons
rotating in the central cells, and it can only be activated in areas with a
high concentration of ether.
One of the most important elements of the event is collecting
supplies from Midsummer Corporation crates. These gold storages, containing
denny and upgrade materials, are scattered throughout the event zones. To fully
complete the quest, you will need to collect 130 of these crates, and the
overall progress is displayed in the main menu, making it easy to track the
resources collected.
Another important activity is "Firewall Hacking". In
this mode, players get to explore the storage areas of the C41 subcavern, where
valuable accessories and treasures are located. The hacking mechanics are
reminiscent of arcade games, requiring players to move in time to the beat of
the music and avoid incoming projectiles. Each level features raiders that
players will have to interact with, sometimes even paying extra in Sherlings.
Progress in this mode unlocks additional supply crates and rewards in the event
menu.

As for the warehouse gates, which are located in the central
area, they will gradually open as you complete the story quests associated with
the event. These gates lead to areas B, C, and D, which open over several days.
To access them, you must progress through the main quests of the event.
Additionally, warehouse areas contain what are called
"Observation Cells." Standing on one of these cells will give you
access to an additional area that contains a puzzle. For example, in Zone A,
players must avoid alarm markers while moving through a field without stepping
on dangerous televisions. These challenges can vary depending on the area, but
checking the observation cells will earn you additional rewards for completing
the event.
Completing all of these challenges and successfully completing
all of the event's objectives will not only allow players to collect valuable
resources, but will also make significant progress in their overall preparation
for the Gold Rush, opening up new opportunities for exploration and completing
all of the 1.1 update objectives in Zenless Zone Zero.
In the Golden Camellia Week in Zenless Zone Zero, you will
have to complete a series of exciting challenges related to the exploration of
the C41 cavern. Follow the carefully designed plan to achieve the objectives
and earn the main rewards. Start by immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the
event by visiting the video rental store and getting tips on how to spend the
holidays. Approach any of the owners of the establishment on Sixth Street, such
as Elfie, who is located near the music store. Exit the video rental store and
tell Weisz (Belle) about the results of your survey.
After that, you will receive the first task from Nicole, which
is to explore "Special: Mysterious Treasure of Golden Week". Agree to
explore the C41 cavern and begin your journey through the dive system. In the
event section, select the Central Zone and dive into the C41 cavern. To
successfully complete the study, you will need to collect the lost data chips
that are scattered around the map. Move to the cell on the right to increase
the progress of hacking the warehouse areas. Go past the cells with coins and a
chest, then move to the exit, where you will encounter enemies.
After that, Nicole is waiting for you next to the newspaper
stand. Leave the cavern for a while and talk to her. After that, return to
exploring the cavern and test the amplifier in C41. To do this, get to the
upper right corner of the site and use the gadget by pressing the "R"
button or clicking on the icon in the lower left corner. Now you can pause the
exploration through the main menu and go to the next event task.
Don't forget to claim your reward for completing the
"Gold Rush Preparation" order from the event menu. You'll receive the
following rewards: Polychromes x60, Expert's Journal x4, and Denny x10,000.
The next step is to discuss your next steps with Wise (Belle)
at the video store. Then go outside and ask Nicole for advice on repairing the
amplifier. Follow her instructions to the construction site on Kazarok Street,
where you will need to find Anton, who is standing near Inspector Meowchelo.
Next, head to the Ballet Twins and talk to Lycaon. Then return
to Sixth Street, where you will need to find Enzo to restore your gadget. After
that, re-enter the C41 cavern and use the booster to explore a new area -
Warehouse Zone A. Go right, collect Denny and data. After you find the chest,
talk to the researcher below to unlock a small challenge.
Go back and unlock the defenses above, completing all
available stages of "Breaking the Firewall". Go up the corridor and
collect all the rewards that become available. Go down the map to the place
where you met the first explorer, defeat the monsters and talk to the second
raider to continue moving to the right. In the next area, collect resources and
use the signal booster.
Once the task is completed, you can continue exploring the
cavern. Defeat the nearest enemy and collect the data that is on the left.
Don't forget to open the event menu and collect the reward for
completing the "Supply Crates and a Gold Miner" order. As a reward,
you will receive Polychromes ×60, Expert's Journal ×4, and Denny ×10,000.
For the next objective in the Camellia Golden Week event in
Zenless Zone Zero, you'll need to continue exploring Storage Area A. Head to
the area on the right side of the map where you completed the previous quest,
Supply Crates and a Gold Miner. Here, you'll need to solve a puzzle involving
TVs while avoiding red alert markers and following the correct route.
After that, go up the field to use the booster as you are used
to, defeat the monster and collect the remaining data. Don't forget to also
collect the denies located in this area and move to the right to the next
puzzle.
At the end of this route, in addition to the chest, you can
find a damaged small safe. Continue climbing higher using the amplifier and
grab the last data to bring the hack of Warehouse Area A to 100%. This will
open a new challenge with red TVs.
Talk to the researcher at the top of the area. Then return to
the corridor on the left using the piston and go down to the beginning of the
area. Complete the final stage of the Firewall Hack in Storage Area A to unlock
the locked crate at the end of the upper passage.
During the second puzzle with markers, you will receive a
Damaged Small Safe, which is connected to the side event quest "Heavy
Safe". Ask Enzo to open this safe and wait two in-game days to meet Billy
and increase your trust level with him.
When you're ready for the next step, turn your attention to
the Midsummer Central Warehouse. Nicole will appear in the video store with new
news and will inform you that a new exploration area has opened up in Cavern
C41. After the dialogue, check your dive system, as Warehouse Area B is
currently considered inaccessible. Dive into the Central Area instead.
When you visit the subcavern, you will immediately unlock a
new area B located at the bottom right. After unlocking this new area, the
quest will be considered complete and you will be able to collect the rewards
for the order "Midsummer Central Warehouse". As a reward, you will
receive Polychromes x60, Expert's Journal x4, and Denny x10,000.
As you move on to close out the next exploration area, Storage
Area B, you'll need to be careful as the cells labeled "Unknown" may
contain traps that will reduce your team's health. Follow the route carefully
to avoid them.
Start by completing all three parts of the Anti-Virus
challenge. Make sure to talk to the raider before you begin. After completing
the challenges, collect the crates located at the bottom of the area. Continue
clearing from where you met the researcher.
At the bottom of the map, collect the data chip and chest,
then return to the Anti-Virus through the portal in the corner. Now head to the
field on the right side of the map.
Be careful in the observation cell: you can't step on the same
cell twice. Return to the place where you previously cleared the ether with the
Hot Fog Amplifier and open the way up by fighting the monster.
Complete the final puzzle behind the observation point. After
successfully completing all hacking stages, Warehouse Area B will be fully
completed, reaching 100%.
Proceed to explore Storage Area C, located in the lower left
corner of the center of the subcavern. Start by talking to the explorer, then
use the signal booster, destroy the boxes and take the first data chip. After
that, proceed to the puzzles with the platinum banbu.
The bunny will jump on certain cells. In order to catch it,
you need to block one of the cells it is jumping on so that it moves to
another. Move the center box to the upper left corner to catch the bunny from
below.
Continue down the hallway to the next puzzle. There are
monsters along the way that you will need to push to the edge of the ring to
deal lethal damage. This task is best done with melee heroes like Enby, as
ranged characters may not be able to handle it.
When you enter the large cell, take part in the mini-game
"Data Steal", where you need to move signature balls to the amplifier
base station. Go around the object along the gray cells and follow the
direction of the arrows. Move the assembled block to the power source to open
the passage to the puzzle with the platinum banbu.
Once all activities are complete, return to the main map and
continue hacking Warehouse Area C. Head down the map to grab two data chips,
clear the area of ether, and find a variety of other resources. Then head to
the left side of the field to grab another data chip. Head up the hallway above
to find two more Banbu and data theft puzzles.
Initially, you won't be able to catch the bunny until you
solve the riddle on the big TV. First, place the orange ball on the base.
Create an obstacle from the resulting block and push the blue object along the
marked arrows. Finally, distribute the stations according to the power sources
of the same color. Returning to the main field, block the path and drive the
bunba into a dead end to catch it.
Proceed to the next stage of "Data Steal". Make a
circle and move the blue ball so that it is above the orange one. Move the
figures to the left one by one and push the orange figure to your station. Use
the resulting base to create an obstacle in the marked cell and direct the blue
ball to the dead end on the right. Place an orange obstacle in the corridor and
bring the blue figure to the station. After that, send all the blocks to the
power sources of the same color. On the main field, repeat the steps of
blocking the hare's path and catch it in the dead end.
Complete the exploration of the third warehouse area. In the
upper left corner, use the hot fog amplifier, find the last chip and open all
the boxes to collect the available resources. This will complete the hack of
Warehouse Area C and reach 100%.
To complete the story mission, unlock the final area of
Subcavern C41. Weisz (Belle) will give you good news at the video store. Talk
to him, say goodbye to the owners of the establishments such as Elfie, Enzo
Asha, and the Iron Coffee Maker, and meet Nicole at the video store to complete
the quest.
Don't forget to go to the event menu to get the reward for the
"Alluring Mysterious Treasure" order, including Polychromes x60,
Expert's Journal x4, and Denny x10,000.
Start exploring Storage Area D by clearing the ether and
collecting suitcases. Talk to the Banbu guards you'll encounter later. Activate
the booster on the field to the left and press the red button that appears
afterward. Climb up the map and complete the ghost puzzle by following the
indicated route.
When you meet a narcissistic banbu, answer his question,
otherwise he will disappear from the map and will not give you part of the key.
The correct answer to his question is: "And who is this best razbanbusik
of ours?"
Return to the lower area with the rails and go through the
correct mechanisms to fight monsters, find resources and press the button that
opens a new passage. Go down to the end of the map and start the test with
ghosts. After that, talk to Loyal Boo and answer his question about the company
affiliation: "Midsummer Corporation."
Go to the unexplored cell on the left and examine the next
area with rails. Go down them to the suitcase with supplies and use the
amplifier. After clearing the area, a red button will appear below, which will
open the mechanism on the right.
After activating all available buttons, go down to the puzzle
with ghosts, secret cells and a firewall. Solve the riddle, read the
information in the newspaper, talk to Rapper-boo and take the data chip from
the Etherals. The correct answer to his question is: "Deadly mecha!"
Continue up the map, past the rail puzzle, and down the long
hallway to another ghost challenge. Turn on the light to pick up the Damaged
Small Safe, then run right to the next ghost. Once complete, clear the area of
ether to find the third light bulb and a newspaper with the answer to Evil
Boo's question: "Narcissistic Boo."
Head down to the cache where another data chip is locked. Use
the key you got for catching all 4 bunnies and complete the hack of Storage
Area D to 100%. This will complete the exploration of the entire C41 cavern and
open the secret supply depot.
Back in town, participate in the Easy Safe event - ask Enzo to
open the damaged small safe found in area D and send a message to Ben. After
two in-game days, Anton will come to meet and thank you, which will increase
the level of trust with the agent.
Check the news about C41 Cavern by watching TV. Rescue the
people trapped in the second part of Warehouse Area B. You can focus on taking
out the two Banbas or explore C41 Cavern for additional resources and secondary
objectives.
Head down to the edge of the map and go left to reach the next
area of Warehouse B. Be careful when moving around the squares marked
"Unknown" as they may hide traps.
Help the Foreman collect building materials. After that, you
will automatically teleport to Warehouse Zone A, where the Majordomo will be
waiting on the right side of the field. Rescue Banba from the laser trap and
protect him from monsters.
After completing the above tasks, leave the cavern and return
to the main mission. Talk to the owners of the establishments at the entrance
to the music store. Return to the video rental store and discuss the plan with
Weisz (Belle).
Contact the agents via Vyse (Belle) to learn about a mech that
can transform into an Ethereal and consume large areas of the city. In the
Central Zone, climb to the end of the map and fight a huge security mech in the
C41 cavern.
Fire Resistance: Avoid Fire-attribute characters as the boss
is resistant to Fire damage. Dodge Long Combos: Be prepared to dodge long
chains of attacks and do not launch a counterattack prematurely. Use Quick
Assist to apply stun points. Focus on Guarding: Take care of the weaker enemies
that spawn near the main boss to avoid constant fire and bombs.
After the victory, gather supplies and leave the cavern. Watch
the long storyline where the proxies go to Lumina Square to do some shopping,
enjoying the last day of their vacation. Return to Random Play and after
meeting Lycaon, check out the situation at the front entrance of the video
store. The agent friends will help organize dinner and thank the proxies for
their work.
