Woodside, coins, puzzle solution

Once you get to Woodside, the second location of the game, you will immediately find a cabinet with five holes in which you need to place three coins. Before you can solve the puzzle, you will have to find these coins (the man's, the girl's, and the snake's coins).

You will find all three coins by simply exploring the Woodside residential complex, gradually opening new corridors and apartments. You will find the first coin in room #206, which you will get to through apartment 208. We talked about this in detail in the neighboring guide, where we described how to open the safe in room 206. Use the handle on the cabinet in apartment 208 to open it and look through the peephole. Looking into it, you will see a room with a safe. Push the cabinet to open the passage to the next room. Solve the puzzle using the clues on the walls, open the safe and get the man's coin.

You might have seen the Woman's Coin in the garbage chute if you looked into it when exploring the second floor. You need to break through the garbage chute. First, take the key to the stairs on the second floor. You will get it literally after you solve the puzzle with the safe. Look for the door that opens with this key at the top of the second floor map, at the very end of the middle corridor. This will take you to the third floor. Find a hole in the wall through which you can crawl into the room with the garbage chute. Take the juice box and throw it into the garbage chute. Return to the first floor, to the courtyard, and pick up the Woman's Coin from the ground.

The last coin is in the pool right behind the room where you first meet Eddie. This area is swarming with enemies. You can skip killing them and just jump into the pool, pick up the snake coin and run away.

Once you have collected all three coins, return to the cabinet in the hall. Note that before you begin, you can flip the coins by pressing Q to see other images (man/sword, woman/tombstone, snake/flower).

1. The first poem says that the woman is under a tree, there is nothing behind her, and a little further away is a lonely flower. The man is walking in the moonlight. Place the man's coin in the first (left) slot, under the moon. Place the woman's coin in the middle, and the flower's coin in the last, far right slot.
2. The second poem indicates that the man is approaching the woman, revealing a blade. The maiden runs away to the flower. Flip the man's coin to reveal a sword, and move it one slot to the right. Move the woman's coin one slot to the right.
3. The third poem says that you don't need to move the coins. Instead, flip all three coins to reveal the man, tombstone, and snake.
4. At the end, you need to put ANY coin in the top slot. Which coin you choose will affect the ending of the game.

And in any case, you will get the key to apartment 201.
