Silent Hill 2 Toluca Prison Scale and Weight Puzzle

This puzzle is related to the scale that you can find in the courtyard of Toluca Prison. Go to the end of the hallway with cells B, go out into the courtyard and remove the cover to reveal the scale and weight. You will have to find new weights to balance the scales by pointing the arrow at the pictures of different animals. This will open the doors with the pictures of animals.

Snake Door

The first of the missing weights can be found in the chapel. From the scale, go back through B Block to the hallway where the armory/armory is. Head north into the chapel and look for the heaviest weight on the altar. Return to the scale, place the heaviest weight on the right and the standard weight on the left. This will open the door marked with a headless snake. Go through it, find the execution room. You need to overload the generator in the witness room by opening all the doors in this area. There is a medium weight on the electric chair.

Door with a bull

Return to the scales, place the standard and heaviest weights on the left, and the medium one on the right to open the door with the Bull. Go through the door, go up to the second floor and go to the security room to get the key to block D. Head to block D and open cell D5 to get the shiv key. Return to block C and open cell C4. Crawl through the hole to get to the pipes. Go between the pipes and climb into the toilets. Run to the end of the showers to find a hole in the wall. Interact with it and get a heavy weight.

Door with a boar

The next animal is a boar; To open this door, place the standard weight on the left and all the others on the right. Go through the door with the boar and go to the infirmary. Take the key to the upper floor from the table at the end of the room and use it to open the stairs next to the men's room. Go up to the warden's room. Type the word SICK on the typewriter to open the drawer and get the light weight.

Door with a dove

The last of the four animal doors opens after you place the medium weight on the right and all the others on the left. Go through the door with the dove. You will find yourself locked in. Get the lightest weight from cell F6 by going through the hole in the wall of cell F15. You will get to a room with a control panel for cells F5 and F6. Press the button for cell F6 to open it. Take the weight. Next, go to Cell F9 and break the wall to get to Cell F10, where there is a staircase leading from the basement.

After you take the lightest weight, the door to Cell F6 will lock. Just wait a bit.

After collecting all six weights, return to the scales one last time. Place the standard, medium, and heaviest weights on the left, and the rest on the right. The arrow will point to the middle, where there is a sword.

Completing this puzzle will allow you to activate the lever on the scaffold and solve the poem puzzle in Toluca Prison.
