Silent Hill 2 Remake - Chained Box Puzzle Guide

Keypad

1. Broken wall in the laundry room. You'll need to find the laundry room on the second floor of the otherworldly hospital first. Break the wall along the southern hallway to get inside.
2. Cabinet in the laundry room. Push the cabinet on the north side and move the cart.
3. Window in room L3. Place the cart under the window on the wall opposite the hallway to get into room L3.
4. Key to the director's office. Enter the observation room and take the key to the director's office.
5. Stairs in the director's office. Enter the director's office and go up the stairs behind the desk to get to room 17 on the third floor.
6. Generator on the third floor. Exit the room and head to the room next to the elevator. Activate the generator.
7. Activated healing stretcher. Return to room 17 and interact with the equipment near the vertical bed. A set of numbers will appear on it. This is the password to the keypad on the chained chest
8. Chained Chest Keypad. Return to the chained chest and enter the code 9659.

Padlock

1. Second-floor restroom. Enter the second-floor restroom and head to L1.
2. Destroyed wall in M3. Head to M3, squeeze through the wall to the west to get to M2. There are hints here to find the code.
3. Calendar page. Pick up the note from the calendar page. It serves as the main hint to determine the code combination.
4. Pills in the sink. Check the sink and count the number of pills (the second digit of the code).
5. Look through the hole in the wall that says "watch it get dark". Count how many times the light blinks (the third digit).
6. Clock in M1. Look through the broken glass on the door to see a clock in room M1.
7. Go to the room and interact with the clock. Set the arrow to "2". The alarm will sound. Kill the enemies and remember the fourth digit of the code (2).
8. Return to the box in chains and enter the code 1622 on the padlock.

Azure Eye

1. Enter the women's locker room on the second floor by going through the nurses' station.
2. Exit the women's locker room and go up the stairs to the third floor.
3. Head to room #4 and pick up the hammer. Use it on the mannequin in the surgical chair.
4. Go to the northwest corner of the map and break the wall to get to room D2. Go down the stairs to reach the storage room on the first floor.
5. Enter the room south of the stairs and pick up another tool (a large needle).
6. Return to the surgical chair in room #4 and use the needle on the mannequin to get the key with the Azure Eye.
7. Return to the chained chest and use the key with the azure eye.

You will receive the elevator button -1. This will allow players to use the hospital elevator and advance the story. At this point, by the way, the Trick or Treat quiz will take place.
