Lighthouse Puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Find and solve the riddle that leads to the secret ending of the game.

In addition to the main storyline and numerous quests, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has hidden side activities that reveal details of the story or open up hidden opportunities. One of the most interesting is the secret puzzle in the central area associated with the Lighthouse.

In the indicated location, you will find six statues with rotating levers. Solving this puzzle will earn you the "Like Old Times" achievement (for jumping from the height of the Lighthouse) and access to the chest on the balcony.

The task is to rotate the statues so that they are facing each other in pairs. After that, a hidden room will open in the large round hall of the Lighthouse. You need to move two glowing objects into it: one will appear automatically, the other is located between two statues on the upper level (they appear after the start of the mission "Shadows of Corruption" in Chapter 8, after Taash and Emmrik join you). By moving these objects, you activate a portal leading to the balcony above the hall. Interacting with the object on the balcony and then jumping will complete the puzzle.

Step-by-step guide to solving the puzzle

1. Point the two central statues on the upper tier at each other.
2. Repeat the action with the two statues on the left (one is behind Bellara's room, the other is under Nev's room).
3. Do the same with the two statues on the right (one is outside Lucanis' room, the other is at the top, next to the pair of statues from step 1).
4. After aligning the three pairs of statues, a glowing ball (a small bluish-green sphere) will enter the Lighthouse. Enter the music room behind the wall where the note was earlier.
5. This room contains the first glowing object. Place it by the entrance. The second (and possibly the first) will appear at the beginning of the "Shadows of Corruption" quest in Chapter 8 (after Taash and Emmrik join).
6. Exit and go upstairs to the place where you turned the first two statues. There you will find the second glowing object. Move it to the music room and leave it by the entrance.
7. A portal will appear in the room. Go through it to the balcony above the main hall.
8. Interact with the blue crystal to call the Overseer. He will appreciate your decision, rewarding you with 500 Overseer Power.
9. Jump off the balcony to get the "Like Old Times" achievement.
