There are two ways to get the information you need. You can help Captain Senkevich by destroying the antennas that are interfering with his soldiers. Or you can leave them intact and collect data from the antennas for Doctor Krivenko. The quest is completed in a similar way, but can lead to significant changes in what you will have to do in the future. Also, only one of the characters will pay for your work.
As in many STALKER 2 quests, your decisions can affect how the story will develop (at least in the next few minutes). To help you make the right choice, below we have described what will happen in each case.
The quest will begin after you talk to Captain Senkevich in the camp that has become Varta's base in the Zaton territory. You will see him arguing with a local doctor. After talking to him, Skif will say that someone from the camp worked with Faust and caused the sabotage. You have a PDA that can be used to track.
The captain suspects Dr. Krivenko, pointing out that the NIICHAAZ scientist is the only one who is not part of his team. However, he cannot perform a scan, as Krivenko's antennas are creating interference. Since you came from outside, he asks you to destroy three antennas, which will help find out who the traitor is.
At this point, you need to make a choice. You also have the opportunity to talk to Krivenko, who asks you not to destroy the antennas, but rather to collect data from them. This way, he will find the person you need.

If you agree to destroy the antennas, four markers will appear on the map. Three of them point to antennas, and one to Dr. Krivenko and an optional objective.
Antenna Locations:
Once all three antennas are destroyed, return to Senkevich, who is sitting at his desk in the main building. He will inform you that something is still blocking the signal, and that this device is located under the observatory. Earlier he was informed that the area was cleared, but he asks you to check.
Follow the markers on the map and head to the observatory and look for the door at the back of the main room. This will lead you to a narrow hallway and underground tunnels. There will be an electrical anomaly blocking the way ahead. Take your time and run past it to avoid damage. If you enter the left chamber, you will reach a dead end with resources. The hallway on the right will lead to another room with a Psi Beacon.
The more time you spend near the Psi Beacon while it is active, the more psychic damage you will take, which can cause hallucinations of non-existent (but damaging) enemies. Once you are in the room with the Psi Beacon, shoot it. Don't forget to grab the fragments.
Enter the door to the right of the Psi Beacon, then the door to the left. You will find yourself near the fragments. From here you can either go back the same way or exit through the broken tunnel system behind the blocked door on the left (if you're facing the lighthouse). It's best to go back the same way.
Once you're back on the surface, you'll be asked to meet Senkevich in the communications room, which is in a small building next to the water tower. You'll tell him about the lighthouse, confirming that Shtyryov was the traitor. He'll order all patrols to arrest him, then ask you to check both patrols, which will trigger the next quest. You'll be given two markers on the map, one for each patrol. He'll also suggest stopping by the medic at the base to get some psi-damage protection pills. You'll need them!
If you talk to Krivenko first, he'll ask you to collect antenna data. If you agree, the map will update and three markers will appear, pointing to the lighthouses.
Antenna Locations:
After bringing all three devices to Krivenko, he will say that something is bothering him underground and asks you to take a look at it. He also asks you to bring him data from the underground device. In addition, you will receive coupons depending on the difficulty level,.

By returning to Krivenko, you'll learn that you've encountered a psi-beacon - an old Monolith device that was repaired relatively recently. According to the data he was given, it was Lieutenant Shtyryov who did it. He also mentions that Shtyryov has the same psychosignature as the former Monolithists.
Krivenko will then direct you to the Echo Station, where his colleagues are doing similar research. This will complete the Like a moth to a flame quest and trigger the next task.
The action game also received a content update.
