At the end of Indy's storyline in the Vatican, you will need to find a secret entrance to the monastery behind the Fountain of Confession. To do this, you need to turn the two dragon statues located on the columns of the fountain so that they look at each other. That's not all, though, and you need to do some additional things (not just rotate these statues). Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Open the crate with Nazi rations located in front of the steps to the left of the fountain and take the gate key.
2. From the crate, turn right and open the gate surrounded by scaffolding.
3. Using Indy's whip, climb to the upper level and jump through the window to find yourself on the column with the light dragon.
4. Jump with the whip to the other side of the fountain to the column with the dark dragon.
5. Turn the raised paw of the dark dragon to reveal a handle and turn the statue to face the light dragon.
6. Return to the light dragon. You will notice that it is missing a claw. Look down at the scaffolding at the base of the column to find the missing claw.
7. After you collect the claw, a cutscene will activate in which Indy will fall off the scaffolding. You will have to climb back up to the light dragon statue.
8. Reattach the claw and turn it to reveal a handle. Turn the statue to face the dark dragon. If you did everything correctly, Gina will praise Indy.
9. Return to the ground and use the whip to pull the main dragon statue in the fountain itself.
