How to Find the Treasure with the Vidlad Bandits' Map?

During the "Barbos" side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players will find themselves on their way to Vidlad Pond, where a hunter named Voislav awaits them. To continue the adventure, players must speak with his family and go in search of Voislav himself.

However, before you can help Voislav, you will encounter wolves. After rescuing the hunter and bringing him back to camp, follow his directions to find the stolen horse. The bandits who stole the animal have settled in a camp in the north, among the forest.

How to defeat the bandits and get the map?

It is best to attack the enemies at night, as they will be less wary in the dark. After you deal with the bandits, you can take the Vidlad Bandits' Map from the body of one of them, which will point to the location of the hidden treasure.

Treasure Hunt: Where to Find the Hollow Tree

Carefully study the map to determine the nearest place on the river with a T-bend. This is the place you need to go. As you approach the river, you will find an unusual tree that, according to the map, fell into the water a long time ago. Coming closer, examine its roots: it is here, in the water, that you will find a silver cup. However, be prepared for the fact that along the way you will need to think about why the robbers drew a map for such a cheap treasure. After all, the cup does not have much value.

Secret location: chest with valuables in the river

Then follow the river downstream, moving south. Even though the riverbed looks shallow, there is still a chance that a large wooden chest could have been carried away by the current. After the winter melting of snow, the river widens significantly, and this is when the chest could have floated away, especially if the roots of the fallen tree were washed away by the water.

Once you find the chest, open it and find the following valuable items inside:

• 300 groschen
• 2 tin plates (35 groschen each)
• Golden crucifix (1430 groschen)
• Silver goblet (40 groschen)

Don't forget about the silver goblet, which you could have found in the water under the tree. All these items can be useful in further travels or exchanges, so don't miss the chance to collect them.
