Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Walkthrough - Where to Find the Boundary Nail

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you have the opportunity to help the inhabitants of two settlements - Takhov and Zheleyev - in their conflict. To achieve peace between the Mice and Frogs, you need to find the boundary nail. In this article, we will tell you how to complete this task.

Quest "War of Mice and Frogs"

Finding the boundary nail is part of a side quest called "War of Mice and Frogs". Below you will find detailed instructions for achieving the best result.

You can receive this quest from one of two characters: Prochek, the innkeeper from Takhiv, or Olbram from Zheleev, after successfully completing the quest "Mice" or "Frogs". If you immediately agree to go to the pasture, you will have a chance to convince the enemy's supporters (Olbram or Prochek) to refuse to participate in the fight, which will reduce the number of enemies. After winning the fist fight, you will receive a reward from the quest giver - for example, Prochek will give you 90 groschen. You can also search the bodies of defeated enemies and sell the items you find.

How to reconcile Takhiv and Zheleev

The best option is to try to stop the conflict between the settlements. Head to Troskovitsa and talk to the bailiff Drozd. Find out about the reasons for the quarrel, and he will tell you about the chronicles. If you do not pass the erudition test, you will have to get to the town hall yourself. The door may be locked, but you can pick it if you have a lockpick, or steal the key from the bailiff or clerk. Try approaching the town hall at night to meet the clerk alone.

Finding a Latin specialist

There is a clerk named Gaibl in Troskovitz. Talk to him in the town hall and say the phrase "Fecit ordinem", after which he will tell you the location of the boundary nail.

Where to look for the boundary nail?

Follow the marker to the pasture. You need to find a nail that is sticking out of a tree located right in the center of the search area, by the road. This location is marked in the screenshot below.

Go to the tree and interact with the nail. After that, return to the bailiff and tell him about the find. Then head to Zheleev or Takhov, depending on whose quest you started, and offer to arrange a meeting with the enemy. Ask the bailiff to end the quarrel. At the end of the quest, talk to the bailiff to receive the skill book "Master's Research 1" as a reward. Read it to increase your erudition level.
