Russian for The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered

At the time of the last update, the most recent and accessible version of the translation is v0.2.5, created by user SamhainGhost. It appeared on the popular resource Zone of Games, where it still remains the only localization option.

The author immediately warns: the work was done in a short time, with visual flaws and incomplete coverage of the content. Nevertheless, this translation gives the opportunity to get acquainted with the game in Russian, especially if you have difficulties with English.

Future updates of this version are not expected - SamhainGhost announced the completion of work on the project.

Where to download the Russian?

1. You can download the Russian localization from the original forum of the translation developer: Go to the topic on Zone of Games
2. Look for an archive with the name: OblivionRemastered-WinGDK_1.pak
3. This is a modified package with translated interface lines and dialogues.

Installation instructions

Open the folder with the installed game (via Steam):

1. Right-click on the game in the library → Manage → View local files.
2. Go to the directory: steamapps/common/Oblivion Remastered/OblivionRemastered/Content/Paks
3. Copy the downloaded file OblivionRemastered-WinGDK_1.pak to this folder.

Russian translation only works when the English interface language is enabled. In the Steam settings, you must set the game language to English. This is a mandatory condition - otherwise the translation will not be activated.

The translation is not perfect: there may be problems with fonts, incorrect text hyphenation and visual artifacts. However, from the point of view of understanding the plot, this is a completely suitable solution, especially for those who do not speak English.
