Snow Mountain Exploration Walkthrough Genshin Impact Guide

You can get the task "Exploring the snowy mountain" after completing the quest "In the Mountains". To get the job, you need to find the researcher Esther. Go to the teleporter above the Sleeping Dragon Gorge.

Talk to her to learn about the monsters that are in the mountains. Esther asks for help finding the beacons she lost while exploring.

Bring back the beacons

Go to the marker on the map.

It is necessary to collect only 4 beacons. They are located in the same location. Beacons are not difficult to find, they glow. To get them, use the character's pyro. The snow needs to melt.

To get the last beacon, you have to work a little. During the quest " In the Mountains " you had to use scarlet quartz to melt the strange ice. To get the fourth beacon, you will also need scarlet quartz. To the left of the teleport at the foot of the mountain, there are a couple of scarlet quartz deposits.

After receiving the quartz, go and apply it to the ice to get the beacon. After collecting all 4 beacons, go to Esther. Now she's asking for these muffins to be installed on Dragonspine.

Install beacons

The map shows the places where you need to install beacons (click V).

Most beacons need to be installed on a hill. You can install them quite quickly and avoiding battles with monsters. Each installation location is highlighted and easy to find. Try to use jumps as little as possible to avoid wasting stamina.

One of the beacons must be installed not on a hill, but on a column.

After placing the beacons in their places, go to Esther and collect the reward. She will also offer another quest , Snowy Mountain Reexplored .
