Fang of Decay Walkthrough Genshin Impact Guide

At the Dragonridge location, you can find a great new weapon in a secret room. The Sword of Desecrated Desire, the Claymore Snowbound Star Silver, and the Dragonspine Spear can be obtained by completing the Fang of Decay quest. When completing the quest, you need to find certain fangs and star silver ore (we will talk about this in a separate guide).

Traveling along the dragon's backbone, you will find an interesting and unusual fang (there are 4 in total). After that, go to the camp and talk to Yu Xia and Orban.

Passage of the quest Fang of Decay

On the screenshot above, you will find the location of all 4 fangs.

• At 1 point, you will have to fight with the soldiers of Fatui.
• At point 2, fight a few abyss cryo-mages. Pick up Crimson Quartz and melt the ice.
• At point 3, go to the crevice near the dragon bones.
• At point 4, destroy the Shelled Lavachurl and the Ice Lavahurl.

Gather 50 Star Silver Ore

Star Silver Ore is scattered throughout Dragonspine. Collecting ore will be easier if you have a character with a two-handed sword. We also recommend using Ning Guang, which is able to determine the location of the ore and mark it on the map.

Find Northerner's Spearform

Visit the following locations to collect the required material:

• Mingxing Jewelry House (Li Yue) - 225 geo stamps.
• Go to the Twisted Abyss - 3 room on the 3rd floor.
• You need to reach level 8 - Permafrost Tree.
• Increased chances to drop a spear from weekly bosses - Storm Terror Dvalin, Lupus Borealis Wolf Lord (also called the Wolf of the North), Tartaglia.

Spear forging

After collecting the necessary, go to Orban. Now you need to fill the dragon's fang with vital energy. Go to marker 3 (see screenshot above). Cryo character will not be superfluous. Find the red crystal and interact with it, then be ready to fight with the soldiers of Fatui. After the battle, use the fang on the red crystal. Now the fang is filled with the necessary energy. After that, return to Orban. He will give you the blueprint and craft the Dragonspine Spear.
