Passage of the quest Gurrank (Shepherd Beast) in Elden Ring

1. The fastest way to get to Gurranka is to use the teleport near the Third Temple of Marika, the location of which will be shown by Dee Hunter on the Dead (see point 1 of Dee's quest).

If Dee has already moved to the Round Table Fortress, then you will have to get on your own.

2. After talking with Gurrank, he needs to feed the Roots of Death. There are 9 of them in total. After the 4th, Gurrank will become hostile and will need to deal a certain amount of damage, after which it will be possible to continue feeding the roots.

For each Deathroot, Gurrank gives out a reward:
