How to get dark silver in V Rising

One of the later gear tiers in V Rising requires a Dark Silver Bar to craft, an item that's not so obvious to craft, especially if you're not well-prepared. In this guide, we explain how to make a dark silver ingot, as well as where to find it.

Before heading to the Silver Ore Farm (where dark silver is mined), you need to remember that you are a vampire and silver hurts you. First, we recommend preparing and drinking a decoction of resistance to silver.

Where to find dark silver ingot

Dark Silver Bars do not have a specific farming location and you will most likely have to craft them. With any luck, you can find them in chests and treasure chests in the Silverlight Hills. However, this is not a reliable way to get ingots, so it's best to craft them.

How to create/make dark silver ingot in V Rising

To unlock the recipe for Dark Silver Bars, you need to defeat Octavian, a level 58 V-Blood militia captain. You can find him in the Danlí Bastion.

After unlocking the recipe, place the whipstone and silver ore in the furnace. We talk about lash stones in a separate guide for V Rising. Silver ore can be found in abundance at the Sacred Silver Mine in the northwest?hell, but before you go there, level up to at least level 60.
