The mythic path, or simply mythic for short, is the ability to turn into one of the powerful entities as you progress through the game.
Mythics have the following impact on gameplay:
Obtaining mythic levels is tied to story events. As a rule, this happens after some significant accomplishments. The game consists of a prologue and six chapters - the distribution of mythic levels in the game is as follows:
At the first level, we will be able to choose which mythic we are leaning towards at the moment. This implies an association only from a role-playing point of view, but in fact this is not the final choice of the mythic and does not limit us in any way in the future choice. We may well choose to lean towards one mythic first, then change our mind and end up choosing another. The final choice of the initial mythic occurs at the third level. Here we make a choice that will close all other mythics for us in this walkthrough. There are six initial mythics in total - Angel, Demon, Azata, Trickster, Lich and Eon. Access to the first two will open in the story, and the remaining four will need to be opened in the course of the passage, by performing certain actions. At the eighth level, we will again have a choice - to stay in our current mythic or go to one of the later ones. There are three late mythics - Legend, Golden Dragon and Walking Swarm. To be able to choose them, you will need to unlock them during the first four chapters of the game. There is also another secret mythic that you can go to in the fifth chapter if the appropriate conditions are met.
Each Mythic gravitates toward a particular alignment - the mythic's characteristic dialogue choices and unique quest chain will be aligned with that alignment. Deviating from this alignment is not forbidden, but if deviated far enough to the opposite, then a unique quest chain can be blocked.
Each mythic has its own unique musical theme - if you suddenly hear that the music has changed characteristically, then this is a hint that what is happening is connected with one or another mythic.
After opening a mythic path, you will have the opportunity to select additional lines in the dialogues associated with this mythic. This option will be available until the final choice of the mythic path at the end of the second chapter. After that, only the replicas of the myth that you select will be available to you.
The paths of the Angel and the Demon are basic and in any case will open during the passage of the main plot. In the dialogues, you can choose at least the replicas of a demon, at least the replicas of an angel, at least one by one - anyway, at the third mythical level, you can choose any of these paths.
In the first chapter, when you get to the Market Square location, you will witness the conflict between Halran and Ramyen. You need not to harm Ramyen - either kill Halran, or agree with him not to touch Ramyen, or wait until Halran kills Ramyen himself. In any case, if you did not personally harm Ramien, then Ilkes will appear and issue the quest “Look to the Stars”. You will need to first find the bard Aranka in the Count Arenday's Party House, and then the magician Tull in the Market Square - he looks like an ordinary crusader and stands next to the place where you bridged the rift when you first came to this location. After that, go to the temple of Dezna at the same location and when the deznaites sing you a song, sing along with them.
In the first chapter, when you get to the location of the Black Wing Library, in a conversation, choose the remarks marked with the words “trickster's path” and “succumb to a strange intuition”.
In the first chapter, in the location of the Market Square, find a strange dagger (near the place where the holiday was at the beginning of the game) and save a piece of the aeon. When you find the Wardstone in the Gray Garrison, select the option labeled "path of the aeon". This is a prerequisite - any other choice will block the path of Aeon.
In the second chapter, after passing the above-ground part of the Leper's Smile location, access to the caves will open. Get down and find the wand in the left part of the location - take it with you. Further in the second chapter, during the passage of the Lost Sanctuary location, when you get into the hall with the altar, you will notice a secret door in the eastern wall. Please note that you can only notice it if you have a wand found earlier with you. Go there, find the character living there and agree to his offer.
The following mythics are late - read no further if you want to find them yourself or are wary of some spoilers. You can choose one of the late mythics at the beginning of the fifth chapter, if all the conditions are met.
In the prologue, find Terendele's Scale in the Caverns under Kenabres. Show it to the Narrator and listen to the beginning of Terendele's story. After that, the Storyteller will issue the quest “The Fate of the Dragon” and ask you to find something else related to Terendelev. In the second chapter, after passing the above-ground part of the Leper's Smile location, access to the caves will open. Go down, in the left part of the location, find Terendele's Claw Fragment and show it to the Storyteller in the third chapter. After that, the Narrator will point to the location of Terendele's Refuge. Head there and after the fight, agree to spare the surviving cultist.
This mythic will open in the fifth chapter in the course of the main plot. You will need to pass a test to renounce your mythical powers. If you refused to accept the Force in the following cases, then the difficulty of the check will be noticeably lower:
The following mythic is a secret one - read no further if you want to find it yourself.
To gain access to this mythical path, you must choose the path of Azata or Aeon at the third mythic level. After that, just follow your mentor's instructions, no matter how strange or wrong they seem to you. And then in the fifth chapter an additional opportunity will open for you.
Siila joins in the prologue during the main story.
Camellia joins in the prologue during the main story. Wears a non-removable amulet. Romance with a male character.
Lann and Wenduag join in the prologue during the main story. But according to the results of the prologue, only one of them can remain in the party. You will need to choose twice. First time in a mongrel village - you choose who will be with you during the prologue. The second time is at the end of the prologue - you choose who will stay with you for the main part of the game. Please note that if you choose the path of the Angel twice - in Natholme and in the Labyrinth, then Wenduag will refuse to go with you. Lann - a romance with a female character, Venduag - with a character of any gender.
Volzhif joins in the first chapter in the location “Heart of the Defender” as part of the quest “Bail”.
Ember joins in the first chapter in the Market Square location.

Regill joins in the second chapter. If you agree to help the Knights of the Underworld as part of the quest “By the Commandments of the Underworld”, then you will meet him in the Fortified Camp location. If you do not agree, then in the location of the Lost Sanctuary.
Arushalai joins in the third chapter as part of the "Heresy of the Demon" quest. Romance with a character of any gender.
But there is also the possibility of joining Arushalai in the second chapter, if certain conditions are met. First, you need to open the Path of Azata. Secondly, after passing the story part of the Lost Sanctuary location, it will be possible to go down to the foot of the mountain. There you need to find the altar of Desna and three items - the Map of Unknown Lands, the Small Astrolabe and the Small Harp. One of them is right on the altar, and the other two lie in the same location. Place all the items on the altar, play the correct tune on them and talk to Arushalai. Thirdly, during the assault on Drezen, when you find Arushalai in the Casemates, then use Azata's remark in a conversation and sing the song of Elysium. In the second chapter, Arushalai joins the eighth level (in the picture), and in the third - the tenth level.
Greybor joins in the third chapter as part of the quest “Dragon Hunt”
Warning. The following companions are either mythic-specific or secret. The part below contains very serious spoilers, so do not read it if you do not want to spoil your impression.
