Russian language in Victoria 3

The most common problem with the release of Victoria 3 is that when you restart the game, it resets all settings, including the language, and starts in English.

This happens due to the fact that the game does not write the settings to the file in which it should write them, namely to pdx_settings, but when it is restarted, it tries to read them from there and finds only emptiness.

There are two solutions to this problem, both require you to go to C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Victoria 3 . That is where the ill-fated file lies.

What to do with it depends on the option chosen:

• We register the necessary settings manually. To do this, of course, you need to know what to write. You can try by analogy with other Paradox games, you can copy from a similar file from a leaked build ... In general, there are ways.
• If you, like me, are too lazy to do the above, just delete this file. The game will launch again in your default language. The procedure will need to be repeated before each launch of the game.
