Complete The Past Within solo

We immediately warn you that the game was created for passing together. Yes, we will show you how to get around the restrictions, but this will significantly worsen the gameplay, since the developers conceived it as a co-op.

Step 1. Buy one copy of the game

You only need one copy of this game. So buy the Steam version of The Past Within and download it. Launch the game and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner. In the settings menu, you will need to disable "Full Screen Mode" .

Step 2. Setting up the second window version of the game

  1. Now go back to your Steam Library and right click on The Past Within and select " Properties " from the drop down menu.
  2. In the new window, click on the Local Files tab on the left and then click on Browse on the top right.
  3. A window with game files will open. From here you will be able to launch the game a second time.

Step 3: Play The Past Within on One PC in Two Windows

Be sure to play as the past in one window and the future in the other. Also don't forget to choose the same puzzle difficulty level (butterfly or bee). When playing in one window, the other will be paused. So it will be easier to complete puzzles for a while.

Have a good game!
