The story of the new "Planet of the Apes" will continue the events of the trilogy

Discussing Film spoke to Wes Ball, director in charge of the future of the Planet of the Apes film series. Currently, the script for the new film is being developed, concept art is being created, and everything is going according to plan.

The events of the new film will be a soft reboot of the series, which will continue the story of Caesar, told in the already completed trilogy. Here are Wes's words:

The last three films are one of the amazing trilogies that have become part of modern film history. They are made with integrity. With an homage to the original films and an emphasis on contemporary sensibilities. This formula has worked. Caesar is one of the great movie heroes who will remain in our memory throughout time.

I want to achieve the same quality with the fourth part. But we will go our own way.
