How to craft and upgrade a workbench in Valheim

We show you how to create and upgrade a workbench in Valheim, a recently released survival game about Vikings in the underworld of Valhalla

A workbench is required for crafting and upgrading equipment, including better armor or weapons.

How to build a Valheim workbench

To build a workbench, you will need 10 units of Wood . The easiest way to get wood is to collect branches from the ground, but it's much better to craft a stone ax (wood x5, stone x4). With it, the extraction of wood will become much faster. We also recommend crafting a hammer (wood x3, stone x2) that will unlock the workbench recipe. Switch to the Hammer and double click to open the build menu. Select the Crafting tab, then select a workbench and find a suitable place to place it.
