The first news about the filming of the third season of The Mandalorian appeared at the beginning of the month: then the eminent actor Giancarlo Esposito (you may not know, but he plays the role of the main villain in Far Cry 6) teased that Disney would start shooting the continuation of the TV show in the near future. And now a more precise date for the start of filming has become known.
Carl Weathers, who directed the fourth episode of the second season and played the role of Greef Karg, said that the filming of the third season will begin in September of this year. Carl stressed that he would again be given the opportunity to direct one of the episodes of the TV show, and Giancarlo Esposito would continue to play the role of Moff Gideon. The plot will be focused on the Mandalorian, so you should not expect many new colorful heroes.
It is not yet known when the third season of The Mandalorian will appear. However, there has been plenty of Star Wars news lately.
