Insider Jeff Grubb on the latest GamesBeat Decides podcast revealed that Electronic Arts has no plans to hold EA Play this year. The event was supposed to take place in the summer, but, apparently, 2022 will be deprived of the exhibition.
The journalist calls the main reason for the meager number of projects that could deserve the attention of the audience. Of course, EA will make some announcements, but for this the company can use events organized by other studios.
According to current plans, EA has a release of a new part of FIFA this year, as well as a possible release of Jedi: Fallen Order 2, about which nothing is known yet.
