SCS Software , the developer of Euro Truck Simulator 2 , has postponed the release of Heart of Russia DLC . Pavel Sebor, co-founder and head of SCS Software has confirmed that the studio has postponed the release of the upcoming expansion for Euro truck Simulator 2 because of the conflict on the territory of Ukraine.
Speaking to Czech gaming website Vortex, Sebor said:
It is impossible to continue the set course and talk about the beauty of Russia.
Announced back in 2021, the Heart of Russia expansion is only a few weeks away from completion, Sebor says, and it needs some final testing and polishing before it's ready. Due to the current situation, the Prague developers find it difficult to answer when the game will be released.
There is a DLC in our case that we can't release right now. In addition to the fact that no one in Russia will be able to buy it, in fact, its release can only provoke people.
