Elden Ring developers remove exploit that gave hackers access to player files

However, small shoals still remain.
Elden Ring developers remove exploit that gave hackers access to player files

The VGC portal reports that the developers of Elden Ring have apparently removed an exploit that allowed third parties to access player files by invading their gaming sessions. All parts of the Dark Souls series suffer from a similar problem, due to which FromSoftware had to disable all network functions. However, in the case of the new game, apparently, the situation is much better.

This was told by one of the hackers who monitored Elden Ring files and sent massive reports to developers, informing them about all the holes in the code. Judging by the information, the team has eliminated the critical problems, but there are minor flaws that will allow ill-wishers to slightly spoil the gaming experience for respectable users.

Recall that, unlike previous games of the studio, Elden Ring has its own anti-cheat, which, however, does not work as it should.
