Nikolai Baryshnikov, CEO of 1C Entertainment, said that the rumors about the termination of the organization's activities in Russia, which had previously appeared on the network, are false. The brand does not plan to curtail its activities, however, some reorganization moments with game projects are still outlined.
We are talking about redirecting the development teams that worked on King's Bounty 2 and Soul Dance Party to other projects. According to Baryshnikov, these two titles did not show decent results, and therefore the teams will be redistributed to other areas.
The director also said that the Chinese publishing house Tencent, which owns shares in 1C Entertainment, has no plans to stop investing in the Russian gaming industry.
