A sequel to Subnautica is in the works

The Unknown Worlds team has launched the next part of the Subnautica series, which will tell the story of a new sci-fi world. Apparently, the main character (or hero) will go to explore another planet, where there will be many interesting discoveries and trials.

To work on the game, the studio is looking for a Senior Narrative Designer who will be entrusted with the task of developing compelling dramatic stories. As in the previous parts of the franchise, in the new Subnautica we will have open locations that are free to explore, as well as a lot of new and already familiar mechanics.

No release date has been announced for the game yet.
