Activision Blizzard's recent shareholder meeting voted to sell the holding to Microsoft Corporation. At the meeting, almost all those present voted positively, wanting to receive the $69 billion promised by the potential new leadership for the deal.
However, despite the passed stage, now the most difficult thing remains - to get the approval of the regulators. And here, as analysts expect, the two parties may face certain problems related to the rules of the antitrust market, which can stall or even cancel the operation.
Be that as it may, the purchase of Activision Blizzard should take place before June 30, 2023, after which such famous franchises as Diablo, World of Warcraft and Overwatch can go into the hands of Microsoft.
